We were looking for a place to eat pizza as it was a Sunday and the mall was closed with most shops so we decided to eat at pizza express. Never have I thought it would be the worst decision, staff are just so impolite, no one greets you with a smile nothing, we sit down looking at menu and when we get to order staff was just so rushed for no reason, when we got the drinks to our table the staff said they didn’t have my partners drink , so my partner asked what else do they have and the staff said everything else?, so rude and not even trying to offer any drinks. The pizza was okay but I’ve had better, the pizza tasted too much of the pickled peppers and it ruined the whole taste . When we wanted the bill, we waited so much and I’ve asked a lady can we please pay and she said yes and walked away, waited another 5-7 min , when the same guys who bought our food came with the card reader, he didn’t even say thank you after we’ve paid he just left running again not even a thank you, what kind of service is this ????I understand it was in its closing mode but Jesus Christ please don’t bother coming here it will make you feel not welcome at all.

.**Absolutely Horrible Experience**Having frequented Pizza Express in the past, I decided to book a table for my daughter's birthday, anticipating a smooth experience for our party of more than six.However, upon arrival, despite being early, we were met with disorganised service and a delayed table. We stood waiting despite 4 staff members hovering by the bar and 2 other staff members walking past me a few times. Eventually I approached them, to which they said my table wasn't ready. We continued to wait.Even after being seated, we were left unattended for extended periods more than once. Again... I went and requested for someone to take our order! We had the most unbothered, uninterested waiter who just seemed fed up(it was early afternoon btw). I informed the staff that I had bought a cake and if they could accommodate us... our requests for service, including for our cake, were met with an unbothered attitude that I couldn't understand considering that we had seen them organise the same thing for another party 5 minutes prior.To add to the frustration, essential items were missing from our order, and no one bothered to rectify the situation unless we told them. When it came time to cut the cake, we were left to do it ourselves, amidst comments about keeping the area clear for the staff's convenience even though the space we were given to sit was not suitable for our party size. Feeling more like a burden than customers, we swiftly paid and left.Unlikely to return to this Pizza Express. Maybe re training is required on how to treat customers especially when dining with children.

This restaurant is an absolutely phenomenal place for dining with five start service. We started off to a rocky start, however, we left tremendously pleased. Lorenzo and Rhianna were one of the best servers who calmed us down when we were unsatisfied with the service provided. I will definitely give 10/10 for the experience we had.

Food is generally very nice, but I was left disappointed during my latest visit.Food took quite a while to come, with it coming after others who were seated after us, and was overcooked, the crust of our romana pizza was solid and impossible to cut, and parts of the base were very hard, like crackers.The garlic mushrooms were lukrwarm, so they were left unattended for some time (asked for food to come together and not separately).Will stick to dough balls as starters for next time.Service was fantastic as usual, only waited 5 mins for a seat and everyone was friendly.Overall a satisfactory experience but not as good as it could be or has been in the past.

Awful service. Dirty plate left on table and they placed the next course around the dirty plates instead of removing them, and just walked away from the table leaving the dirty empty plates there. Pizzas were all burnt. All the pizzas tasted like the base was gluten free, no chew to the base and that weird unpleasant gluten-free taste. Just plain bad.

I usually like Pizza Express for its consistency and food, branches such as in Ealing, Windsor and Radlett is where this happens. The Westfield White City though was a big nehh!We were greeted with a yawning waiter on the door. They say, first impression counts right? Body language is so off that he made us feel that our patronage with the business is not valued.Upon ordering, as my son has a slight intolerance to tomato, I kindly asked the waiter if my kid could just have plain pasta. To my surprise, apparently this couldn’t happen! I mean! What?! Plain pasta with no sauce, I asked why, I was replied to with ‘the manager don’t want us to do this’, ‘we put the pasta in the oven where we cook the pizza’. I mean what?! Even in Italy I have never ever heard of this.If it couldn’t get even worse, I asked for water as my kid was asking, when I asked a waitress, it was like talking to a zombie! Uninterested and unhelpful. The water arrived with no glass or ice, I asked for ice and have given me ice on a dirty glass. I asked for a Sicilian lemonade and literally tastes like water. Trust me, I know the taste as I’ve had it literally millions of times before.The food came out, pizza was ok but the lasagne was burnt. It was not even busy. Thumbs up though for letting me hear all your life story and gossips (waiters and chef). So unprofessional!I think I would stick with my usual Pizza Express branches that actually loves what they do.
