Seems like a nice cafe, but the matcha latte was really terrible. I’m not one to throw things away but… It was a swampy yellow colour and the milk had an odd aftertaste, it tasted completely different to usual matcha. So just a warning to anyone with their hopes up, probably avoid their matcha.

I’m from Japan. I loved this matcha latte because it tasted a bit like Japanese green tea! My French partner tried and he loved it too. It will be liked globally except British and American people because they like way too sweet drinks.

Absolutely love this place and feelSuper grateful for it being just round the corner from home! Amazing high quality coffee every time, with an outstanding selection of sweet treats too. It’s the friendly caring staff which really make it for me though, I just always feel so welcome, and I think that’s what everyone wants from “their local”.

Everything was amazing from start to finish. The staff were really attentive will definitely be back. Thank you to Grace for going above and beyond, so polite, very friendly and made us feel so welcome!

I might come back to Sanderstead just for this place. The staff were lovely and happy to be there. The coffee and pastries were delicious - I will be having dreams about the raspberry pastel de nata.

An original and ethical coffee shop in Sanderstead. One of our favourites as the staff are superb, Megan is a ray of sunshine and sold me on the vegan brownies which are the best, veganism aside! Great coffee and original sandwiches. That's their selling point! Different than all the chains and smiling, happy staff always willing to help my husband get in with his wheelchair.

I popped in here with my friend and between us we ordered some cappuccinos and an apple and blackberry crumble muffin and a slice of carrot cake. The baked goods here are delicious and the hot drinks very well made. I will definitely come back.

Tea was good however croissant dry and didn’t taste fresh.
A delicious toasted sandwich and a fabulous brownie, served by a smiling, helpful you g man. Exactly what I had been hoping for! If I’m ever back here, I’ll come back without hesitation. Yum!

I was so excited to unexpectedly find a vegetarian coffee shop here which serves cakes/ muffins etc and also light lunches . The muffins were absolutely delicious and the coffee was great. The staff are very friendly and efficient.

not usually in this area and this was such a nice place, really interesting food options, was gutted to hear they had kimchi toasties after we had ordered but had some lovely pastries and the coffee was good too, nice decor, wish we were in the area more to try it again!

Great place if you want an ethical lunch or coffee. Only downside is limited sandwich/food
