This shop has gone downhill, ants on the table and poor food quality and rudeness.The only plus side is a whole grilled chicken meal £6.99 excellent prices but the quality of the shop has dramatically gone down. Shop is now part chicken shop part corner shop.

Just went into this shop asked what was in one of their wraps the staff was rude in their reply the other two staff made it very obvious that they where saying stuff about us as they kept talking to each other and looking at us and laughing terrible customer service and unfriendly rude staffThe shop looks rundown and filthy walked straight out of there

Do the new owners even know how to cook chickens ? I ordered a large box of chickens for a family night, the chicken pieces are tiny, dry, very dry, and two small pieces weren't just dried, they were crunchy, meant they sat inside the cabinet for at least 3-4 hours, chickens are suppose to be juicy and meaty, the ones we had are not even fit for animals are they are so dry its difficult to chew, never mind bite. We had KFC the week before because we drove past a branch on the way home, people say KFC is not healthy or it is greasy, but trust me, they are still by far the best chickens around, saying that, this Chicken Palace should rename itself to chicken Poop, it is that bad !! Its not even the £18 we wasted, its the fact they even have the balls to serve such bad quality food and think customers will return.

Their chicken 65 and chicken biryani is the only reason I go there. Lamb biryani is not great. Lamb is a bit dry. The service is below average. That's why I gave 3. For food they deserve 4 stars

Worst burger I’ve ever had to be completely honest the burger was the size of my pinky the chips were rock hard the burger wasn’t cooked properly the wings were over cooked over all a horrible experience.Also the burger gave me food poisoning for 5 days
The food was hot and delicious. The staffs were very polite and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this shop, give it a try guys ;)

Have been buying from this shop for years. Previous manager was so friendly and really nice. He always had time for the customers. I have noticed a real difference with the food here now. The coating on the chicken since the new management took over is now so crispy and full of oil. I usually remove it before eating. The grilled chicken is not as tasty as before. Its either burnt or not cooked properly. I really loved this place before but definitely won't be buying here anymore.

I have been ordering from this place for a long time. It is slightly more expensive than other chicken shops, and not five star but the food is halal, which says a lot. My brother knows the owner's family. They are Muslim Alhumdullilah.Food tastes fresh and tasty and the shop owner is friendly. I would recommend the half grilled chicken meal. Lovely.May God keep this shop open for many more years to come. Ameen.

We went to see family near Norwood and the kids asked for lunch, the staffs had masks but the are not using them, they simply put them on below the mouth, totally pointless, then I heard a member of staff in the back preparing chickens and he sneezed, didn't even leave his station to do anything, he just carry on as nothing happened. At times like now, hygiene is the most important part of any business, especially food services, I don't think we be using this shop anymore, our health is more important than food. The only upside to this visit is, the food was tasty and portions are good, but still, not worth our health over a good meal.
