I put 1 star for food due to not eating. But the service from Amelia and Wezle was 10/10. The other staff members was friendly too, but I didn't catch their name. I would definitely recommend.

We had the greatest anniversary experience. Our server Amelia was fantastic - very attentive and lovely. Also those behind the bar Tom,Tasha and Wesley made sure we were well stocked up for drinks throughout our 2 hours. The food was amazing and the lonely Amelia boxed it up for us to go !! if you haven’t been I recommend the slug and lettuce south woodford, couldn’t have asked for a lovelier evening.

Experienced 3 women with Irish accents being refused buy the manager as I was having food there the 3 women were there the night before st patrick’s day and apparently there kids were little to loud I could hear ladies trying to explain that the bar staff were very friendly and as far as they were aware noting was done wrong the manager said she wasn’t working on st Patricks day but she had no choice to refused them because she looked at cctv from what I could see was definitely discrimination girls pleaded with her and assured her they only be waiting few hours she walked away I felt very embarrassed for the girls do better slug and lettuce

Came into slug and lettuce Saturday night, had something to eat and to drink and really impressed by our server Lily who was polite, consistent and really helpful explaining the menu. She was really welcoming and cannot express enough what a difference she made to my experience.
