Awful. The pub was two thirds empty, but it was impossible to have a conversation due to groups of travellers shouting at each other at the tops of their voices. Almost all the house ales were off, and the food was half cold. This pub appears to need a management makeover as soon as possible. Not a pleasant environment in any way.

I've been using this pub since it first opened around 25 years ago. It's now absolutely dreadful under the new manageress. She's unpleasant, rude and arrogant - pretty much everything you don't want.

Had an evening meal here two night on the trot, both were fine the drinks were good and both drinks and meals for under £20 for two. Plenty of seating and the staff were polite and sociable. The gents toilets could do with a good clean, but other than that no problem

Visited here this evening and was quiet disappointed with the cleanliness of the venue. The bar was very untidy and by the looks of it hadn’t been wiped down for hours. Maybe short staffed but it wasn’t particularly busy. PED looked grimey too.

This Southgate branch Wetherspoon interior is looking a bit tired. That said I must praise the theirs meal plus drink menu that is excellent value that is much needed in the rising cost of living!
I popped in with my son for a quick pint and a meal and was not disappointed at all , great food , fair pricing and great hospitality from happy staff , the employee that served us was very polite , attentive and engaging Which made us feel very welcome . Ray was a perfect example of how people should be whilst working with the public ?

Absoutley beyond disgusted with this pub and management here! I've been coming here for years and over the last 6 months the service and quality here has been awful. With new management come the loss of the best bar staff I've seen in this place over 12 years! Place is a shambles now! I've heard the new manager jasmine belittle her staff and make comments about others (staff and customers) to other members of staff. Horrible frosty atmosphere there and unfortunately will be looking for a new local!

What to expect: long waiting times, poorly trained new staff, consistent empty fridges, flooded urinals and blocked loos, stressed floor staff on the verge of a mental breakdown, a different table layout every visit and probably this pub up for sale too as well.What not to expect: much, cleaned tables, the drink/meal you want in stock, your iorder drinks anytime soon and any of the same staff from a few months ago.I hope this pub starts making some very big changes for the better but for now I think I will take my money elsewhere. Tim Martin if you are reading this please do something about your pub as none of the staff nor us customers want to be here anymore. It’s sad to see how downhill this Wetherspoons has gone over the past few months including an entirely new team of staff who clearly don’t know how to run a pub.

The staff are leaving in there droves. The manager jasmine does not have a clue how to a run pub. I would like to point out that my partner and I have been coming here for years. I personally think this pub needs someone a lot older with far more experience. To run this place.
