An excellent brunch spot and definitely worth your time! Especially the seasonal is always great. They make plenty of their own ingredients which are extremely flavoursome, and the chef is clearly so creative.Dietary restrictions: Excellent gluten free options

I cannot speak highly enough of this place. I've come here dozens of times and have never had a bad experience. The staff are delightful, the atmosphere is welcoming and the owner is clearly passionate about food which is apparent in every dish. Get the seasonal on toast, it's always sublime.

Amazing food, perfect coffee, cool atmosphere, cool staff. I love there. I’ll come again and again.

Excellent food, different ideas using home grown produce. Recipes should be shared, wrote a recipe book please. Chefs and kitchen staff were very polite and clearly working very hard. Wait staff were pleasant. Prices are higher than average but the food is outstanding and freshly prepared so worth a bit extra. Only suggestion would be a bit of care to the restaurant and rest rooms, some updating and a lock of paint. This would not deter us from returning though. Will definitely visit again.

A distinctly average experience. Reaally long wait times; we’re talking about 35-40 minutes between ordering two very simple dishes and them arriving. Coffee was fine. Service very very slow. If you go when the gym has its doors open, you will need to be adept at tuning out the high frequencies of clattering chains. Otherwise it was a pleasant enough spot, but the food was nothing to write home about and really very expensive for what it was.Dietary restrictions: Not recommended if you are dairy free or vegan. A most surprising discovery in a trendy East London spot.

You'd be laughed out of business in Brunswick trying this on.If you're after bread, you'll get a lovely huge slice, but for every other topping or flavour - sure it tastes fresh, but that is as deep as any of the flavours ran, impressive for the depth each dishes description goes into.Pretty - but underwhelming fine dining portion sizes relying on the hope you'll eat enough bread to be full after a meal.Wheelchair accessibility: So cramped they'd need to clear a path.

I asked for a paper menu because I didn’t have my phone on me and was unable to access the menu digitally. The waiter then said they had no other option for the menu than a digital QR code, he said that the menu changes each week and so this prevents wasting paper (even though they have been serving the exact same items for well over a year). After this, I asked the waiter what was on the menu and what he recommended, he passively asked me to look at the menu with a QR code. This restaurant is clearly still living through tough Covid times, not to mention the outdated interior (unpolished wood has gotten dirty and worn over time) and dusty cobwebbed decor of dried garlic hanging from the ceiling. As an Australian that has lived in Brunswick and travelled all over Japan, they wouldn’t stand a chance in either country. I’d rather spend my money elsewhere that has better dressed, informed and well mannered staff, rather than wasting my money on overpriced brunch with miserable hipster staff in yesterdays pyjamas

Food is so fresh, unique and tasty. Great vegan brunch option, cakes and cookies. Service and atmosphere are great. Love sitting on one of the tables outside on a sunny day!

Loved the chilli pouched eggs ?Unique and amazing flavours.Slightly pricey £14.50 but it’s worth it. The sourdough was a big slice.

Spot one with the location.Expensive compared with any other spot locally. Personally felt it missed a bit of flavour.I prefer my coffee to be hot not lukewarm.

The staff are clearly very unhappy here and they make you aware of it, quickly and repeatedly.A very unfriendly place for families as well, it used to be full of mums and babies but isn’t any longer. The staff are hostile and judgmental making it very unpleasant. The chef however is lovely in contrast to others.Best to give it a miss unless you are dashing in for a cookie or banana bread to take away

A great spot. But honestly underwhelming taste for the price and aesthetic.Food , under seasoned, coffee delicious but so expensive (£1 more than anywhere else locally), service ok, menu confusingly written. My Japanese pancake was a wet mess. And my friends toast was a doorstep, more bread than toast. £4.50 for an extra side of bacon is ludicrous. I’m aware of rising prices of food. But this did not feel worth it.

Amazing food, wonderful staff. Outdoor area is flooded with insects, very cramped seating. The table next to you can hear our whole conversation. Good experience, but I wouldn’t come back.
