It was by far the best local meal I’ve had in years. Delicious, innovative, charming and reasonably priced. Unrivalled in the area for sure. An absolute must for foodies. ??

Tried this restaurant for the first time last night and we will definitely be going back! The food was excellent - beautifully cooked and presented and very tasty. It was also good to find that the wine was not overpriced. Although small it has a lovely light and airy feel. Would highly recommend Bistro 101!

I been to many nice places to eat a meal but this place is the best I been too so far and I mean that the food was just perfect the starter was heaven the flavours were like g-d was in the kitchen made with class style and love, but wait the sea bass oh my g.d this was better then any west end restaurant none come close .the sea bass was cooked just right the sauce the right taste I advise you to go now before you end up on a list waiting for a table , great for dinner any time shame others can not cook like this place. a 1 all the way

Superb place, excellent welcoming staff and a comprehensive menu.We loved it and will definitely return.Would recommend to everyone, try it and you will not be disappointed.Vegetarian options: Noticed the menu catered for vegetarians but we didn't order.Parking: Parking on the main street at 70 pence per hour during the day.

We came at 4pm in search for coffee. We were immediately denied entry by a young lady and probably assumed to have food. What cafe stops serving food at 4pm? I feel as if it was abit discriminatory against us and so we do not recommend this place to anyone. She was rude in her approach and uninformative. We walked past again at 6:23pm and saw people seated at the cafe with sustenance Infront of them. A real shame. I hope the Owner of the Cafe reads this.

We booked a table for lunch and were greeted by very by the hostess with a good table and a nice smile. The bistro was full by the time my guest arrived so prior booking avoided disappointment. We were offered choice of brunch and lunch menu with everything prepared and cooked by the sincere chef in a semi-open kitchen. A good variety of dishes all looking very tasty and reasonably priced. We chose a home-made starter of hummus and greek bread (not the normal pitta) to share; the specials of the day were roast leg of lamb and roast chicken; finally a delicious dessert. A delicious rose wine and water alongside. All very good though I recommend that smaller bottles of water be available for a small group.Vegetarian options: Several starters and main course vegetarian optionsParking: On road parking with a 2 hour time limit.
