A good wenzels location. The food is what you would usually expect. The bread is delicious although a bit expensive for what you get. They have quite a good selection, from doughnuts to baguettes, fresh and delicious. The staff are quite friendly and there's usually little or no queues. I would recommend the tuna salad bloomer sandwich, it's very yummy and always fills me up.Parking: Free parking on the High Street in the weekend, paid the rest of the time. Additional limited free parking at the sainsbury nearby.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy accessible from the street level.

Went in today (12/6/23) to buy a tuna baguette and was served by a very rude member of staff that served me. I asked for a fresh one as the one behind the counter looked like it has been there for days and didn’t look fresh at all! I asked her politely if she could make me a fresh one and she replied “why?” I told her that I didn’t like the look of the one behind the counter , I was very polite when I asked her. She then said “it is fresh” I then said “all I’m asking is for you to make a fresh tuna baguette , it’s not hard, I’ll even go to the back and do it myself” she then stormed off and made me a fresh one. This girl had an attitude problem and looked bored and very bad customer service skills and she wasn’t interested at all. I then complained to her colleague saying that she was very rude and the other girl said “I will talk to her” (which she proberly won’t as she didn’t care about what I said ) overall bad experience. Rude staff and will not go back there anytime soon. I’m a regular customer but would rather go to greggs in Edgware where they treat you better and value you as a customer. The baguette was also not that great.

Earlier today, Sunday 2 October, I bought a maderai cake from the Stanmore the broadway branch and upon opening it I saw it had gone bad. The best before date stated on the cake is 2 October, I can’t believe they don’t check their food. How are they selling spoiled food. I will be demanding a refund! Ridiculous ?

We made went very early this morning to collect baguettes for a lunch as we were going very far to an exhibition. We asked for cheese and salad seeded baguettes. The staff packed as we were looking at the other counter. Only when we sat down to eat did we discover that we were given tuna baguettes which were completely inedible as we are vegetarian. Myself and my 10 year old were left with no lunch on a full day out. I wish I could say it was a genuine mistake but I don't think she understood the difference between cheese salad and tuna salad and was repeating about seeded bread so obviously had not listened correctly to start with. Doing more than 1 job at a time so not focused on the customer's order.

I have to say the management and staff here at Stanmore branch are truly amazing , I haven’t been very well so have had to order breakfasts recently , all my special requests have been read and met , one morning as they were very busy waiting for Uber driver, the sausage rolls were placed in warm cabinet to keep warm, then forgot to give to the driver , I rang them straight away and the manager kindly sorted this for me , she is very assisting , and polite , it’s so refreshing to have staff that puts a smile on your face . Thank you Stanmore Branch , you’re amazing ? Wezels please acknowledge this wonderful manager working so hard and superbly.

Cheese Salad Baguette - tasteless, no seasoning.Sugar Ring Doughnut - tasteless, not even sweet.
Fast and friendly service. They don't service breakfast wraps anymore which is a shame but plenty of other stuff.
