I LOVE this great place CALABASH. I have been using for years. The guests that have joined me there always talk about the lovely food

Had curry mutton and rice and peas more bone and fat than actual meat.Portion was small for a large .I dine In.The table opposite me was left with I'm a mess for an hour from when I arrive till I lefted. Took me 25 mins to get my foodWish I went to caribbean restaurant in Leytostone .Never again !

I order small jerk chicken with rice and peas with a soursop punch. I like my food dry with a little bit of gravy but forgot to mention it to the young lady that serve me. I will pop in again at some point. Apologies for the picture quality but eating in the vehicle and light is a little bit poor.

A very good Caribbean restaurant. The true litmus test of any foreign restaurant is- do people from that country eat there and with the Calabash Caribbean people certainly do.Vegetarian options: Stew peas and rice is very good, vegetable curry, cornmeal porridge and fried dumplings and festivals

This place is definitely a hit or miss with the food. I have had great food from here and I’ve had no reason to complain before. Tonight however, we made a big order, £65 worth of food. We could not wait to tuck in. The jerk chicken was so salty, the curry mutton was bland, the Mac and cheese had zero flavour, the rice was nice and so was the coleslaw. I called them to complain about the food and receive a refund on the food we did not eat. We was told by the lady on the phone to call back at 9pm to speak with the manager. We called them back and had no answer, I then received a call from them and the first thing I heard was the lady in the back ground saying “why you calling them back” then the young man said “sorry wrong number” and quickly hung the phone up. Due to this I packed the food away as hardly anything was eaten and drove to the shop THEY CLOSED THE STORE. Now this is just unacceptable. I would suggest not to waste your money at this place. Unprofessional behaviour.

Great service with a smile. We were greeted by the friendly patron. The food was delicious, freshly cooked and well worth the wait. Would most definitely come back and highly recommend.

Came with my friend from work for dinner ? the food was great. I had oxtail with rice and peas salad with a side of fried plantain. Topped off with Soursop juice. Absolutely divine would definitely come here again to eat could be my new spot. I removed a star only for the fact that they did not remove our plates once we had finished eating, so we moved them to the next table ??♀️?. They do serve alcohol as well for all my drinkers out there x

Food was 2/10 not the best but the next morning I’ve been having diarrhoea and feeling sick after eating the food personally I wouldn’t go back there to eat or recommend it to anyone everDietary restrictions: I only picked this because I didn’t have any of a choice restaurant is horrible

Wow I must say I’ve been coming to calabash now for many years and the service has been declining , poor customer service prices are extortionate for what you get … although I don’t eat McDonald’s I’d recommend… that’s it for me with this place .

Their white rice is abysmal…puffy and mushy. The large portion barely filled the takeaway container. Their curry goat is also mediocre. Fry chicken and dumpling are nice though
