I met up with a friend the other day for a catch up, we had a morning walk around Coate Water then went to buy a coffee When we came back round. We placed the order, I get my cash out and I go to pay, but I get told abruptly it's card only! I explain how due to my disability I massively rely on cash (which under the 2010 equity act I don't actually have to), neither of us do online banking, or have the internet on our phone as we're not very big supporters of technology, nor are we tech savvy, and my friend explained that he's waiting for a new bank card as his old one has expired. We then get told pay with card or jog on! You're boring me to death! This is clear discrimination and I will happily take you to court for it. If this is how you treat customers I hope your business goes bust and you all lose your jobs! Cash is king! Use it or lose it!

The older woman behind the till was extremely rude, she had more attitude than my hormonal teenage daughter. She didn’t look to well, so I guess that could be her excuse. Hope she’s ok. Lovely walk around the lake

Ace water splash, perfect for the kids to cool down. Shame the splash park is closed at the moment ?

I used to love this little cafe, the staff and coffee were truly wonderful. Unfortunately there is an incredibly rude member of staff working there at the moment who on two occasions has been very unwelcoming and out right rude, The last occasion was when we arrived a minute before opening time and not realising tried to order coffee, to say she was angry with us was an understatement - I'm sure Craig would be horrified to witness such poor customer service.

It was OK i guess! Far from the place it was in my youth! It's a shame to see such a beautiful place left to feel so unloved! I do hope SBC can bring some love back to such an iconic place.

Place is selling items at different prices which is NOT ALLOWED without correct advertising. Asked forna mocha which states £2.70 then tries charging £3.70 so i asked why ' oh thats what it should be' ??? no i dont think so, so i cancelled my order. The prices havent been updated for months and you have plenty of time to change your menu prices. The cafe is so run down ans dirty will not use again

This is a nice little place to get your refreshments in the Coate Water Country Park.... I'm not a fan of the card only payments they have here,as I dread the thought of losing cash to this digital currency they are trying to push onto us all, once it's gone it's gone...... No more saving in your piggy bank for a rainy day or money under the pillow from the tooth fairy......I pay with cash everywhere I go........ Plenty of places to sit around the park to enjoy your food and drinks.....?

Very busy little cafe. Food and drink piping hot! The staff are quick to serve you even though there's always a long queue! More seats would be great especially with the new park .

The lady server, was sweet and speedy. Did a great job with handling what we wanted. The food ordered was a small chips (£2.00) and cheeseburger with onions (£4.50) along with cheesy chips (£2.50) and a banana milkshake (£3.00) for my sister. I think portion wise it’s great for the price, food was hot and tasted amazing. It tastes so homey if that makes sense, so the food was very comforting while watching the birds fly, children laughing and dogs barking. Will be back soon.

Popped down with my elderly parents for a coffee and some grub! Had bacon rolls as well as cheesy chips and it went down a treat! Staff are ever so friendly and very chatty too. Definitely worth a visit or two! :)
