“We started using Cook when we walked by the store and wondered what they served. After a bit more perusal and investigation, we figured it out and thought to try it.

The food is good. Let's simply start there - they tested how the dishes will cook and their instructions are spot on perfect. There is a huge variety, flexible sizes (for teenagers who eat portions for two!) and all frozen so my busy family can serve themselves. The kids love it as they can have a 'snack' often and can have different flavours and dishes.

Pricing wise - they often have some decent promotions available but even then, it is not expensive for what it is. We have to try their bigger meals but for now, we have made this part of our weekly family shop with a drawer in our large freezer dedicated to Cook items.

Finally - love what they represent socially - giving people a chance to build lives again - and contributing to society - inspiring and we love supporting them.”

The steak sandwich was a standout—properly done, with depth and soul, not just thrown together. The jacket potatoes come loaded with hearty, homemade fillings that taste like something your favourite aunt might serve up, and the prices are refreshingly reasonable for the quality and portions.

“Hi everyone, I would like to leave a review about coffee in Nero, which should NOT be taken. I really liked their new Pistachio Latte and always had it with oat milk. It costs £4.25. But this morning they didn't have pistachio syrup and I decided to get a coconut caramel latte and was disappointed. They made me coffee in a smaller takeaway cup than usual. Although I only paid 5 pence less. The coffee tasted awfully sweet. It seemed as if I was drinking the syrup itself.I like this Nero on Surbiton. It's not far for me to walk and the staff is usually polite and the coffee is delicious. But it disappointed me.”

“Great place for lunch, brunch and wine. Have visited many times for wine and pizza, coffee and cake, and the soups are always excellent. They have a good selection of quality wines to take home. Highly recommend.”
