Wonderful dinner. I had to modify some of our dishes due to chilli intolerance. There was no issues doing that for me as everything was made to order.. it was all delicious and hubby's even got a good bag to have tomorrow.

I'm a bit surprised at some of the reviews. I can only comment on my own experience. Food and service were excellent. My friend had chicken tikka masala, and I had lamb pasanda. The lamb was tender, and the curry sauce just right. It could seat an army, but we were only one of two couples on that Monday night.

I’m surprised this restaurant is only has an average rating of 3.9Certainly on the two occasions I have been, the food has been excellent. I should add however, that I have always asked them to prepare my food ‘asian’ style rather than anglicized as restaurant many restaurants do.So perhaps that’s the trick!

As ever the food was excellent. The king prawn puri and scallop starters are wonderful. I prefer vegetables and found plenty of choice as ever.

When the food finally arrived it was tasty. But it took around an hour to come. and then the main course came before the starter. Very disappointing

Joy is our favourite local curry house. We come as a family or with bigger groups. Plenty of space and tables of different sizes and configurations. We like that there are many round tables. Wide ranging menu with some different specials to the normal. We used to come for special occasions now it is our first choice even without a reason.
I have been a loyal customer. But tonight the chicken in the chicken tikka masala smelt off. I realised half way through the meal, after eating some of it. I am keeping the rest of it for testing in case I get ill. Really not happy or impressed. Shocking experience and not acceptable.

Will never use this restaurant again.Cold food delivered late, no help offered, they said they were busy and I should call back later or tomorrow.They don't even know who is the manager of the restaurant.They don't keep notes of transactions and therefore can't give a refund.Dodgy all round.
