My parents booked a table for my birthday. I was greeted by Vanessa, what a lovely lady. So professional and caring. She wasAlways there to make sure we always had everything we needed. The cocktails were so good. The food cooked by Chris was unbelievable! And the lemon dessert was on another level. I highly recommend Langleys. They made my birthday special.Thank you

Reviewing so improvements can be made not to put people off going.. this place is lovely, great dining space and bar welcoming staff, and positioned well.. reasonable drinks and a fairly reasonable Menu......... But, the quality of the food leaves a lot to be desired, we went on a 50% off for a mid week value bite to eat, starters (which i assume are bought in) were lovely, chicken liver parfait was bang on, the smoked mackerel was a little sweet but still rich and Smokey.. v good. the mains are what let it down, my wife and i had the seabass, nothing to write home about, ok single fillet of fish cooked well, 3 new potatoes (undercooked) a lot of sauce which was ok, all of it was under seasoned, i had to add a good amount of salt and pepper to this £18 dish, My son had the Steak, this looked ok on the plate (steak n chips) however the mushrooms had a nasty twang to them, the steak was not seasoned at all and therefor lacked any flavour not good enough for a £30 steak, my daughter had the pork belly, this was the most disappointing dish, cheap slice of belly cooked to order so had no time to render fat or soften, lumpy mash and some green laid on top, pork was not nice at all i think this main was £17.Beer was lovely, crisp pint of peroni! wine was also very good, pino blush.Service was excellent, 10/10however the added service charge is cheeky and I personally don't like it, £17!!!A brand new menu is needed and either need to simplify the menu which probably wont suit the venue, or get a chef who knows how to cook food properly if you want to command the prices, ... no offence intended.

Visited Langleys for the first time this evening and it was fantastic..Great menu...this did make it hard to choose, though! We went for the arancini and rillete to start, both of which are so so good- the arancini were out of this world! We then went for the lamb rack and the liver, both of which were cooked to perfection and the accompaniments were delicious too! For desert, we had the mango sorbet and creme brulee, both of which were fabulous. The staff were friendly and attentive and made such an effort to ensure all guests had a wonderful evening ? ?.

Visited on a Friday night, and it's a shame to see this place not full. Beautiful room, great service and no compromise on the food- very fresh and tasty. A beer, a good bottle of wine, and 4 people having a main and a desert and the bill came to under £90. Very reasonable considering the quality.

We were the only table in the restaurant and we had to send back the risotto as it was cold. A very limited menu and a few dishes were not available (including burgers). Staff were very friendly but I wouldn’t return.

The restaurant was a bit quiet for the lady night. The food was good. Starter: house bread and scallops were a bit overpriced. Main course: the twice cook pork belly was good. I ordered my steak medium rare but came out well done, a bit disappointed. The 12.5% discretionary service charge was based on before 50% to calculate, which is unfair.

We went for the Wednesday ladies’ night. Excellent food, good portion sizes, very attentive staff and 10£ for unlimited good quality wine. I really liked that they played music at a low volume so we could enjoy our food and conversation without having to shout. The service by both waiters was extremely friendly and attentive.
