Majority of food items were out of stock, cutlery was not clean and had coffee stains on it. The panini I ordered was soggy and bland. Jacket potatoes were as if they had been left out for a week and then reheated. Even the salad provided with each meal was wilted and beginning to brown. Somehow they even managed to mess up a glass of water as there were black particles floating around in it. The only saving grace is that it's next to a patisserie to help you regain faith in the ability of people's food preparation skills.

St Nicholas Centre should be ashamed. My ham and cheese panini couldn’t have had any less filling, and when politely asking for napkins the surly waitress pointed to the back of the store. Not worthy of any stars in any aspect. Definitely one to avoid.

Please do not waste your money! Ham and cheese panini was a slither of ham, no cheese to be seen, egg and avacado on toast inedible. Waitress couldn’t even be bothered to bring napkins but pointed to where they were. Service was so appalling we wondered if they were related to the owners of the coffee shop next door. Best to avoid both tbh!

So very dirty!! Uncleaned table and stained seats. Have to say, it’s a s@@t hole and crap service. Why they let this place go is beyond me.

Such a nice quiet cafe. Their Lemon & Blueberry cake is possibly one of the best cakes i've ever had. The service was brilliant - very facilitating. The iced coffee was also perfect. The food was 10//10. Thank you!

We arrived at 12pm and there was barely anything avaliable, when I asked if they could make a salad, they told me there wasn't any left and I should have got there earlier it was lunch time! It's because they pre-prepare their food, i put it down to pure laziness of not wanting to serve it as and when! The blonde haired woman is so rude, their food is lovely but I haven't eaten in their since. It was a place me and my family would all go for lunch regularly and have since avoided due to her terrible attitude and customer service!

It's not even worthy of one star! Horrible experience! Ordered the poached eggs with smashed avocado on toast and a flat white. The only thing what was as described was the toast. The avocado wasn't smashed, nor were the eggs poached. I complained about the eggs, for this they treated me as if I was an inconvenience - had rude attitude. They agreed to replace the eggs with all I can describe as an undercooked slimy mess, that I didn't eat. Took them ages to bring my coffee, asked them 4 times before I had to go collect from the serving area myself. My daughter had a cheese on toast and a buttered toast. Nothing special just bread, butter and cheese...not much to review on that! ? I understand it may have been busy, but that's no excuse for the abysmal standard of food or the rude unhelpful service. Will not be returning.

Rude staff, dirty chairs, tables were not being cleared and when we asked for it to be cleared the waitress complained and told us to sit somewhere else.Part of our order was forgotten and when we asked for it the staff member rolled her eyes as if we were an inconvenience. We asked to speak to the manager and we’re denied.Would absolutely NOT recommend.

The breakfast is nothing like what they have in the picture. Bacon incinerated. Sausages tiny and burnt. Eggs and beans cold. Toast was nice though.

Best, quietist, least claustrophobic place in Sutton to relax with a drink now. Starbucks and Nero both crowded, noisy and bad coffee. The coffee here suits my taste (and you get a bigger cup for the price…than in any other high st stop. The service can seem a little brusque, but we know the staff now, and it’s just how they are. (Resting B face) you could say…But actually they are very kind and attentive and very happy servers. And they bother to remember your order…they start preparing our usual order as soon as we appear at the door. Not had much food, but the tea cakes are nice. My caveat. If you you love STRONG coffee….ask for an extra shot because I love their coffee, and I’m a weak coffee lover.

Had coffee and a lemon muffin this morning. Coffee was lovely and muffin was delicious. Staff were all very friendly. Very busy cafe, coffee and muffin brought to my table. Served with a smile. I would highly recommend.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly. Offer a variety of food options for children.

The blonde lady in this cafe is absolutely awful. Moody and rude, looks like she wants to fight you because you ask for a salad. This place used to be so lovely and the man that worked there was always friendly. Smiley and helpful.Completely gone down hill.Would not visit againBare shelves and awful service.Would NOT recommend

Very bad customer service. Food is even worse. Staff look miserable and un polite. A manager is very rude( no smiles, no thanks) , looks at customer as an enemy. I would not give even 1 star. Very disappointed
