Amazing food, and friendly service from the owner, Patrick.Cannot recommend Ho Me highly enough, but do recommend booking in advance as it’s only small and almost never has availability for walk-ins.Favourite dishes - Ma La spicy pot, fish fragrant aubergine, and sea salt aubergine!

A cute and homely local restaurant with the best Chinese food in town. It's small, unassuming and feels like you're dining in someone's front room, but the service is great and the food is even better. BYOB and Cash Only and book well in advance!

Absolute perfection. Quaint cute little place, feels timeless and very cosy, only about 20 odd covers. Went for my birthday and wasn’t disappointed. Everything was delicious - har gau (we had to order a second portion!) were sublime, pork dumplings, prawn toast, crispy duck and chicken with chilli & black bean. Not the cheapest but worth every penny it’s BYOB with £3 corkage which means you can take your own favourite wine. Cash only. Around £60 for 2.

Not very flexibility in the number of people that they can accommodate, the owner was not helpful when asked to amend a booking, flatly refused to discuss which led to us having to cancel the booking, we wont be visiting the restaurant again, clearly does not value our business.

Very rude guy, popped in to see if they did take away but this question seemed to really offend him? Could have just politely said they don’t do take away I would have stayed and eaten in. Definitely won’t go back

I'm completely addicted to their spicy beef noodle soup. Very authentic and delicious - especially on a cold winter's day. The homemade noodles are consistently perfect and a real treat! Their prawn toast is my go-to starter - crispy, filled with prawns n delicately seasoned.A few practical notes: 1) cash only; 2) BYOB w corkage fee of £3/pp and 3) booking is essential in the evening, esp Fri-Sun

Service is horrendous! Was craving Chinese food but after being told no strollers allowed (doesn't even tell you where you could leave it) and only bookings, we decided not to bother trying the restaurant again. The restaurant was empty though (hmmm.. I "wonder" why).

Not sure what happened there but called up to make a booking and the guy was so abrupt and then hung up on me. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and called back as I was sure I’d been mistaken and he was just as abrupt and incredibly rude. Apparently I had called at the wrong time and he couldn’t help me. How bizarre and confusing. The food must be good to compensate for such poor customer service but I guess I’ll never know.

First time visiting and I’m so happy I did. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The gentleman who served us was so friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was very calm and homely. If I lived nearby I would be visiting all the time. Hopefully when I’m in the area never time, I can visit again.
