Pubs in Teddington

“The best pub in Teddington quite comfortably. A non-pretentious back street boozer with a great selection of ale, plus plenty of keg options and bootlegs from various stables. There is a quaint garden which is great on a nice day. Inside the interior is quirky and full of interesting booze related paraphernalia across the ages. The ladies that run the bar do so effortlessly and are very friendly and welcoming. They accept card, but I think there’s a minimum spend so ideally bring cash although life always finds a way. There’s a jukebox too so you can put some tunes on.Hopefully pubs like this last the course as they’re rare gems these days!”

“Was immediately greeted by an excitable Aussie/New Zealand bar maid who was super friendly and attentive. Didn’t have food but the menu did look good. Great selection of beers and a decent sized garden too”

“Fairly large comfortable if somewhat generic Shepherd Name pub with a reasonable sized outside area, some with comfortable seating and some with less so. There were 3 ales and I had a pint of Whitstable Bay Pale Ale which was in good condition. I thought the pub seemed expensive but I have been told that the prices are fairly average for the area.”

“I haven't been here in some years. And I have to say. I am glad to have returned. A great selection of Drinks.. Although the ale section could use a few guests. I only had a bit to eat but, the Karaage sticky chicken is delicious. I think it's chicken thigh, which is just fantastic in my opinion. The place has a great atmosphere for a Thursday night. Had a quiz going which has a decent crowd. And with a very nice prize up for grabs! The thing that made this place for me tonight. And, I made sude to take names... Was the staff. Mikey, is a great chap with tons of banter and personality, from what I witnessed, he has the ability to build rapport with all types of patron. And Jay! Wow. She was here there and everywhere, clearly running the staff and house. While also having and maintaining a friendly and courteous rapport with everyone, staff and customer alike. Will without doubt be returning!”

“Shepton MalletI know a place called Shepton Mallet I went there last summer on my motorbike,I met a girl called Hazel McDonald and she said to me let's go for a ride, too the beach we went two leathers and a tent was strapped to the back of a motorbike,We made love completely on the sand so sweetly after the sun had time to hide,A man from the council came along and told me you'll have to move your bike son cos you can't park there,I took the hint and travelled on a bit then drove it round a corner into a square,Hazel looked at me smiling passionately she said UP the meter man let's park right here,Now Don't worry baby you know I'm not that crazy I don't think they'll give you the electric chair.Victor Allen 1980”

“A lovely find! Friendly service with delightful outdoor seating front and back with fresh flowers everywhere. We had an early supper and the portions and prices were perfect, especially for London! The drinks prices were particularly good and there was a good selection of local beers, not only Greene King. Friendly service and a lovely menu. Highly recommend.”

“Arrived by boat so used their mooring. Really looked after in our large group and food was very good. If coming in by boat check the tides as jetty and bridge quite a way out. At high tide there will be water surrounding the bridge and covering some/most of the picnic area.”

“Where do i start - love this pub , love their Garden apart from finding glass all over the floor which I wasn’t pleased with - the pub has changed so much through out the years and constantly have new owners. Previous owners were great and hard working and would always deliver best.We have not long been , lets say two weeks ago and we’re told that it has been tken on by new owners lets hope the owners are understanding and have high standards in about how important safety is as in there should have not been any sight of small glass scattered around absolutely everywhere!! and that my children could have been hurt by it. It has a children playground for a reason and it should maintain the healthy and safety procedures for all children and famililes. Please take note that this is a family pub and hope it does expect everyone’s expectations.Love the pub and will always support- as long as not only my children’s safety is met but others - i want to be able to sit down and enjoyMyQualityFamily time without worrying about my children not being safe.”
