A real shame to give somewhere my first 1* reviews.New to the area...Food was by far the worst Chinese food I've ever had...all tasted of the same deep oil flavour. Pretty disgusting. Having phoned the order in, you'd have thought that perhaps they'd have mentioned "cash only"...who's seriously "cash only" these days? This meant I had to go to a local charging cash point...having walked past 3 free cash points on the way from the train station. Really bad, unfortunately!

I’ve been using this place since 2014 when I lived nearby. I now don’t live close but I still drop in occasionally because I just love the food! Salt & Chilli Chicken is superb!!!! The chips are usually good too.It’s old-skool, so don’t expect anything flashy and some may argue the food is a bit greasy… but it’s how I like it and in my opinion how it should be. My parents used to own a chippy, forever filtering and changing the fat for freshness… but personally I think when it’s changed less often you get a better, more authentic taste ??Parking on the street, remember it’s cash only!

Mediocre. I live nearby and if I just want a savaloy and chips in a hurry, I go here, but for fish I go to the more distant Carp and Trout.
