Generally great. Burger really good, great ales. Crisps taste bad, packet not even half full.

Friendly staff but food was not great. I had the roast lamb and it was pretty fatty and gristley.

Good choice of craft beer and real ale. Nice menu, and a big outside area hosting occasional festivals. Unfortunately they have no pool or darts, but a nice place to go with a few friends. They have a bit of an annoying habit of booking out all the tables in the bar, so perhaps book ahead if you need a seat.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our team for our work Christmas lunch. The preorder booking system was well laid out and easy to follow and, on the day, the food tasted delicious and everything arrived promptly and on time. Love this pub as our regular for after work drinks!

Fantastic Sunday roast - both the vegan roast and the beef roast - well cooked, good selection of veg, friendly staff and an excellent wine list. Perfect Sunday afternoon.

I came in with a group of four at 9.20pm, when the website says last food orders was 10pm. It took us a while to be served and when we were finally seen, the waitress told us we were too late and the kitchen shut at 9.30pm. We let them know we arrived 10 minutes earlier, as we're locals and know the kitchen times, but were told definitively it was closed and no more food could be ordered. Very frustrating. If your kitchen closes at a particular time, you should serve food until that time.

I went there for a quiet drink with a couple of friends but we had to endure Rugby World Cup blaring through a speaker above us.Perhaps a corner for Rugby fans would allow non Rugby fans to have some space to ourselves.

We've been here a few times since moving to the area and can't fault it. Service is always super friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, but with a good mix of people and the food/drink is always on point. Went to watch the Rugby World Cup Final here last weekend and absolutely loved it.

Nice to visit a local pub with a real pub atmosphere. Not pretending to be something else.We visited for a girls' catch-up over lunch. We were not expecting table service, so that was an added surprise.
