Sunday 10th March 9.05 am and yet again this cafe is not open was supposed to open at 8 and this is the third time I have turned up only to find people trying the door and girl inside just waving her arms around and then just goes upstairs. My self and at least 15 customers now next door in pret (always open and friendly staff)

Ordered a delicious mocha. Staff welcoming and friendly - thank you! Store looked great! Feedback for cafe nero would be: why are your cake slices so expensive??

Excellent coffee ... But why oh why is the place being so neglected? There should be no compromise on general cleanliness or on keeping tables cleared and clean ready for the next customer. Cafe Nero, whatever the branch, don't take customers for granted. A big need for a reset!

This used to be a very busy, clean café with great/efficient service, but it is now impossible to find a clean table (even though free), and the wait to be served is sometimes so long I simply leave and have coffee elsewhere. Not sure why this is, as the café is definitely nowhere as busy as it used to be. Been a long term customer, so very disappointing.

You know what to expect from Nero: good coffee, friendly staff. Nice to have some extra space on the mezzanine level, and large windows letting a lot of light and providing good views of the bustle near Tooting Broadway station. My personal preference is no piped music, or at least one corner without that extra noise, hence one star off... but maybe if I asked they'd turn it off, who knows!

I am writing to provide feedback on my experience at your store today. I was disappointed to see that the manager on duty was not engaging with the team or customers, and instead was asking customers to leave if they were not consuming from the store. As a manager in the food and beverage industry for over 15 years, I believe that it is important to look after any customer who enters the store in order to promote the brand and create a positive atmosphere.I would suggest that the manager on duty engage with the team and make everyone happy, rather than showing their power. This will help to create a better atmosphere in the store and encourage customers to return. IS NICE TO BE IMPORTANT BUT IS EVEN MORE IMPORTANT TO BE NICE!Kid-friendliness: ZERO!

I recently visited a Caffè Nero in Tooting Broadway Mitcham Road and was met with notably poor service. We were the only customers at first, yet our order took about 20 minutes. The staff, particularly a trainee, was dismissive and not attentive to our requests. For instance, when asked for butter and jam with our fruit cake, a standard offering according to their menu, the response was inconsistent and unhelpful. Additionally, the staff's interaction, often in a non-English language and accompanied by dismissive gestures, was off-putting. Our request for a refund due to the missing items was met with further delays and dismissive comments. Also, a simple request for extra milk for a babycino was ignored, and the preparation was hidden from view, which was unsettling, that my daughter refused to drink. This experience was in stark contrast to the efficient and pleasant service we usually receive at the Balham Caffè Nero. It highlights a need for better customer service and staff training at this particular location.
