Chips were refried and burnt, no sauce provided the wings were mediocre and only luke warm, all which I had to throw away, this cottage is extremely over priced with no offers available in comparison to local chicken shops or cottages, service was atrocious, Staff were rude, could not listen, very patronising and they would use terrible language to there customers, the supervisor calls me a maderchod to his colleague thinking I wouldn’t hear him then lies about it when I confronted him to repeat what he said, the colleague lied and made accusations against me which were not true, I advise the owner to check the camera around 12.30am so he can see how his staff behave and why his customer base has gone down, I asked for the manager or a number to someone i can speak to they lied first said no one there and then said the guy who swore and provoked The situation was a supervisor after all, they showed no consideration, no respect, no effort, no customer service, gave a lot of attitude, gave terrible food which I could not eat and had to throw away, please see pics.I had been coming to this chicken cottage for many years and did feel like it today but considering my last few experiences over the last few years i would never recommend or go to this one again, it is not my first choice anymore due to service and quality of food, anyone that knows this cottage will remember how busy they used to be compared to now, and it is because of these reasons, I would never go again and I would definitely not recommend.The Streatham high road and Thornton heath cottage’s 10x better, better offers/deals and service, if you are looking for reasonable service and decent food please don’t go here and waste your money.Very disappointing.

The food was amazing. The chicken was cooked well. Juicy & succulent inside, not dry at all. Grilled to perfection. Love the peri peri sauces, One of the best branches I've been to.. Staff food and service top notch.. No waiting around like the other branches.

Its halal which is highly important for me. clean environment, staff members are polite and customer service is 10/10. A+++++++++ great vibes❤️?

I must say that for years I have been an avid lover of chicken cottage and will have an occasional meal there as a treat however, recently I believe they have changed how they spice their chicken wings. The chicken wings are so spicy that I had to hang my tongue out of my mouth and pant like a dog. In addition to this, the adverse affects this spice had on my stomach the following day was astronomical. Please, chicken cottage either return the chicken wings to the spice level they were before or offer alternative, mild wings. Both myself and my friend are paying the price for the spice

the FRC burger meal was absolutely atrocious and the beef as well as the chicken were both undercooked. when i asked them to reheat it the staff said go away this is what you get. we will not do it for you. hating my experience today with this branch. thanks.Dietary restrictions: alright

Don't normally leave negative reviews but after continuously ordering from this branch I've had enough with its hit or miss quality. Ordered a box of bbq wings which were disgusting and tasted like they'd been sitting in a microwave for hours. Bad taste and smell and even look strange compared to how they're supposed to look. Definitely needs to be some sort of new arrangement within management with their quality control...

I ordered chicken burger meals and strips. Chicken tasted like it was from last night and the burger buns had a really bad defrosted odour emitting from them. The workers not giving any care to the food preparation just throwing the food around. Ended up giving me wings instead of strips. This place used to be great but unfortunately the standards have fallen immensely.

We ordered our food and being in uniform they gave me the NHS 20% discount. When we got back to eat it we had found that we didn't get all of what we requested. But the food was very delicious.
