It's a great pub, good beer choice, but they lack FOH intelligence. We went in on a Fri evening, and understandably v. busy, however, we sat on a table that was showing reserved with the time stated 30 minutes before our arrival. Twenty minutes after our visit we got booted off - when guests arrived nearly an hour late for their table.I don't understand the logic here but you can take this 3 star review and hope you improve.

Despite being Mother’s Day and fully booked all day and evening the roast rib beef with the cauliflower cheese side was superb the side vegetables were unusual and delicious - staff were soo busy but despite that they were all polite and took the time to make sure we had what we needed.

The Sunday roast menu was varied and the food was excellent in both quality and portion size. Craig offered an excellent service considering it was extremely busy on Mother’s Day. Nothing was too much trouble in making our day special. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to return.
