Awful service. I do not need to be shouted at halfway across the shop in front of other members of the public by a staff member for the fact I sat down when she asked me if my food order was "take away." I only go here for conveniences, not the staff welcome.

I rarely go to Greggs in Wallington, but I enjoyed my visit there especially when I was going to plan to post a Birthday card for my cousin Oliver's 31st Birthday last month.

Fantastic customer service. Lady in there called Tina, she was very helpful especially as I'm fussy and picky but she was patient and explains what's what very well. Thank you for a pleasant experience.

So I asked the server if they had peppermint syrup for my mocha. He checked and said that they did so I went ahead and ordered a peppermint mocha as well as some food. He served the food and I had to remind him of my coffee as he hadn’t made it. He proceeded to make the coffee and then, before handing it to me he walked out of the shop to go on his break!!I pointed out to another member of staff, who I believed to be the manager, that he’d left without completing my order!She reluctantly made me a mocha but didn’t put the mint syrup in so I pointed out that I’d paid for a peppermint mocha. It was at this point that another server piped up “We don’t do peppermint, only mint!” Now if someone asks for a peppermint mocha and you have mint syrup then it is pretty obvious that you would use that syrup to make a peppermint mocha!! There was absolutely no need to be pedantic and say they don’t do peppermint syrup! Then the manager began to question whether we had in fact paid for a peppermint mocha as she hadn’t heard me ask for it! She was out the back of the shop at the time that I ordered it so she wouldn’t have heard me order it! I had the order receipt on my Gregg’s app if she needed proof! She reluctantly gave me my peppermint mocha but not before the other lady had pointed out again that they didn’t have peppermint syrup, even thought the original server had said they did. There was no apology for the fact that the server walked out halfway through my order either.I’m not really surprised at the attitude of the manager though as on a previous visit to this branch she rolled her eyes, tutted and told me off for ordering my food before my coffee as she said “the drinks take longer to make!” I’m a customer, how would I know that??Greggs… do better and drop the pedantic attitude!!

Such a slow service in the morning. Queues out the door with hardly any staff serving. Wouldn’t recommend if you’ve got places to go in the morning as the service is so

I have had food from this place many times, usually it’s something to look forward to. However, recently when my father ordered food from there not only did they take over an hour to arrive (he lives very close and they Usually only take 15-30 mins) they also had left out half our order. I was disappointed as usually the food is good any they don’t forget our food. I have noticed from the other reviews here that the quality of this Greggs seems to have been dropping, I’m not going to say don’t eat here but please do bear that in mind before ordering.

I ordered food which was later then said and then still wasn’t delivered when I asked for this to be sorted they had no care in the world to help when I’ve spent money that I work hard to earn. A complete waste of money for me to not even receive any info back on what’s going on. I asked the driver to call when he was outside in which he didn’t call not to my surprise after this service!

Full bins no customer service,cold coffee, dirty tables and staff that would prefer to serve you with out speaking to you no hot food I. This Greggs no napkins only blue roll !Never again

Rudest staff I have ever encountered. I have been to Wallington Greggs multiple times before and ignored the behaviour of the staff (a particular lady) as one off, but today it really did upset me. I started browsing through google reviwes and realised I am not the only one, and I am not sure whether Greggs/franchise owner has ever take  an action.Today, I went in with my 5 year old and picked up a couple of rolls and a coffee and didn't even look at the price and paid what was asked for. My little one started eating while I was finishing the payment, so I suggested that she take a seat. At that point, a woman staff member who was not at the till rudely told me ' It will be more money'. On asking what she was talking about, she said to eat in I have to pay more." Then she asked a youngster who was on till that did he enquire whether we wanted to sit in, and he said he assumed we wanted a take out. I asked her how much I needed to pay extra at which she said ' Not much'. I pointed out I was not aware things have different pricing  at which she said not for coffee but for food . I was confused, though, why the rule didn't apply for a coffee and whether i was allowed to sit in if i was just buying a coffee. However i had enough of the arrogant behaviour  and didn't want to create a scene in front of my 5 year old.Few kind words and humble customer service are definitely missing. I'm not sure why you would put someone in front of people who lack basic courtesy. The good thing is I live locally and will ensure I spread the word of the service this outlet is providing. I will also reach out to Greggs on twitter.
