I attended this restaurant for a friends birthday, we were a party of 20, other than that the place was empty. The food was good, music was good but loud so we ate in silence, the service was terrible. The waitress forgot half the order and guests were left without food- anytime you ask for something she behaved as though we were interrupting her. The waitress was rude and intimidating and even had the audacity to ask for tips from the guests and was very pushy. This place is more about extorting money than a good customer experience. It was my friends birthday and I bought her a bottle of wine as a gift and the restaurant then kept the deposit she had put down because she opened the bottle (although at no point did they raise this as an issue- it was raised at the time the deposit was due back). Most restaurants will offer a complimentary drink or cake for birthday party/guest as birthday party’s bring in a lot of money however this restaurant doesn’t and in fact will not do anything in addition for a birthday.. they will take your deposit at any opportunity. The bill was longwinded and tbh a complete nightmare; the waitress didn’t seem to be informed of the deposit and after 45 mins of arguing she made false allegations. The management at the restaurant need to give their staff better training and there needs to be more communication between staff so paying guests can have a seamless experience. The staff need to be more professional and treat customers with respect.

Very disappointed with my 1st visit to an African cuisine restaurant.When my wife snd I arrived we were greeted by what seemed to be a quite angry woman, not welcoming at all. We were attending a friend's birthday dinner and were the 1st in the restaurant. I ordered 2 drinks (at what seemed to be an inconvenience to the same staff member) and had to wait a full 43min for the cocktail. The food came out very slowly and again was soo disappointing, bland with rice that had obviously been burnt, I asked quite a few of our 30+ party and all had the same opinion of the food. Music was good but came on so loud whilst we were eating everyone had to shout to communicate. There was 1 waitress who came later wearing a white shirt that was really amazing, smiling and helpful. I hope these things improve so others will have a better experience but we will never go back.

The food was good. Dj only played African music. we asked for Ivorian and reggae, and he said yes but never played it.When we were leaving, a man was verbally abusive to us he was holding the door while we walked out , and he then let go of the door and started swearing at us in the presence of the security. The security did not take the abuse seriously. He casually told us when asked that he said he loved us. 1 waitress was very abrupt. Maybe her waist trainer was too tight.

The suya is too expensive and it’s not well made, 17 pounds for suya and you’ll find bones inside, they taste more like fried meat too. Please do better suya and stop ripping people off.

Pros: Friendly and welcoming CEO Mr John. Customer service could have been better however this may have been due to just one staff who was super rude and therefore unfair of me to generalise the comment towards the establishment itself.Food was good but due to shortage of staff at the time, it was delayed.I will certainly look to visit again as the ambience was quite impressive

First time in the restaurant on a Friday evening. It was not too busy a place but the service was delayed for hours. DJ was not on point with the choice of music. There's work to be done on the internal sitting area. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and helpful.
