Ordered food at 7.30. Eta was 8.15pm. Rang restaurant at 8.40pm and I heard them apologising to 3 other people about kitchen being slammed and no one to deliver.If you can’t cook food, and you can’t deliver food don’t take the orders. If there is an issue don’t pretend it is not your issue. The food arrived and was greasy and tepid. Overall a pretty poor experience.

I’m shocked at other people’s reviews , Happy garden has fantastic food and always busy with other customer waiting so it cannot be that bad!! I will always use them. The reason they only take cash is that credit card companies charge for the use of a card meaning they would have to put their prices up and they don’t want to do that as it’s well priced Please ignore bad reviews and give them a try!! I have tried about 30+ Chinese restaurants in London, and I must say their spicy beef in black bean sauce is one of the best I've ever had, always have to pick it up every week, such sensational! Highly recommended from a polish guy.

Terrible experience ordering here. Half of the order missing, with over 1h of delay and the food condition wasn’t the best. Definitely not ordering here again, specially with the lack of support from the customer service team

The quality of the food overall is very poor. The meat in my pork dish example was clearly old / deep frozen and as tough as leather boots. This place is a bad example of Chinese food. You're far better off going to My Old China in Acton which serves actual proper Chinese food and of a much much better quality.

Ordered 1.chicken and noodles soup 2. salt and pepper wings 3. barbecued ribs and 4. chicken chow mein. Got... warm soup with funny taste wings that were obviously not freshly made today or even this week...tough as old boot never seen barbecue ribs this colour swimming in very thin sauce chicken chow mein. .. very little chicken. I have used Happy Garden many times before and have been Happy with food provided...very disappointed with this one.. couldn't eat any of it..That's 23 pounds I won't get back?

After ordering over the phone and paying by card at least twice a month for over a year, the business has now decided that they accept cash only for phone orders. I was directed to their website to place orders if I wanted to pay by card. The prices on the site are 40% higher than in their printed menu. They've lost this customer and I'm sure I won't be the last.

Not worth the 1 star though.Ordered a vegetarian fried rice.What I got was neither vegetarian nor fried rice.There were some raw vegetables tossed up in boiled rice. No salt no pepper. Nothing fried.Also there was egg in it, which I believe if was part of it, should have been specified exclusively. That too when I mentioned to the lady at the counter that I want vegetarian fried rice.To add to it, they charge extra for card payments!Total waste.
