Nice food, terrible experience. Myself and 5 friends booked a tribute night (live music event) here. Firstly, we were told the music starts at 7:30, this in fact was after 8:30, a clear ploy to get you in earlier in the hope you spend more / drink more. After sitting for around 10-20 minutes, the manager comes over and asked us to lower our voices and keep the noise down. Now my issue with this was 1- it’s a tribute night with live music full volume. 2- we were simply talking, the restaurant was packed so maybe our volume was slightly higher than usual to simply hear one another but this did not sit well and seemed as though we were expected to sit in silence in which I told them was extremely poor customer service, enough so that the table next to us commented to say the restaurant were unreasonable. Now we order, a friend of mine has been vegetarian for the past 2 years. He made the restaurant aware of this when ordering, asking for the veggie starter and asked them to substitute the set menu option for a tikka masala with paneer opposed to chicken. They then serve him with chicken & paneer mixed curry, throwing 2 years down the drain. Luckily being a vegetarian is an option to him and he has no severe allergies. Once making them aware they just said they miss understood. (Not sure what is to miss understand about saying, “im a vegetarian, could I have the veggie starter and can I have the tikka masala from the set menu but with paneer instead”. Fast forward to a quiet night from us, with music full volume through the restaurant. The bill came, and the chicken dish was still on there along with an additional service charge which I told them to remove both (I assumed they would have at least offered this as a gesture of good will). They then argued they would give us £10 off the main meal for the mistake in which I told them was unacceptable. Following this, they asked me to add up service charge and 1 meal off and asked me how much this would come to (I seemed to have forgot I worked here? And unsure why I am now doing their job for them). The food was nice, can’t complain at that, there were 2 jersey boys opposed to 4 but the singers were good. Most of the restaurant were on their feet dancing and singing their hearts out, so unsure why upon entering customers are told not to speak to eachother. It’s a shame as tribute nights have been good fun in the past but terrible service and the older gentleman taking orders is highly incompetent and caused all the issues listed, think he needs a change of job role unfortunately. Never again after this experience.

Crispiest poppadoms. We shared a chicken chetinad which was tasty and satisfyingly chilli hot. I had bringal and aloo gobi which were cooked just right in light sauces, rice was served steaming hot and the tarka dal was delicately spiced. And we did particularly appreciate that the naan bread were freshly made, light and puffy. Very good Indian.Vegetarian options: The tarka dal was very good

I have been visiting this Indian Restaurant for a good amount of years usually opt for the Banquet Night (Weds or Sun) 4 x dishes for a set amount pretty good food for reasonable money! You have to tread carefully as the drinks can be overpriced..⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic meal and service. We had the banquet menu which was great value for money. Portions sizes were the same as standard menu so there was a lot of food to share.Parking: There is a large car park to the back which is payable using the Ringo App. However it is free after 18.30 hours .

Consistently delicious food. Lovely staff. Been using this for years and still our favourite curry in West Wickham. Tribute acts are always decent and fun if in a group.

A pretty standard high street Indian restaurant, but the food was good, a nice selection and was hot and tasty. The interior is modern and comfortable and not too noisy. One slight gripe is the use of far too much food colouring. I don't need my food to be bright red, let me see the colours of the dish.

Food here is always good. Service no problems, however adding a service charge of 10% to a table for two is just greedy. Increase prices if you must but do not deceive customers.
