I go to Thai elephant a lot and today I was absolutely disgusted with the service, they was rude and slow, I had been in the restaurant two hours before receiving my mains. They cups are ridiculously dirty so dirty I could probably catch a illness or a cold sore. Their food was beautiful on the other hand even tho I am adamant they have a new chef.

I need to start with the discussing toilets, I would not even touch the door handle. Apart from the smell, the doors are filthy and you could write your name on top of the dust on the rusty bin. The food is more batter than content, you have to keep ordering more as the portions are so small and the sauces do not taste like they should. The sweet and sour sauce taste like vinegar. The waitress just leans over the table and doesn't even say excuse me

As a Hong Kong expat living in London, I am so thankful we have this restaurant in our local area. It’s the authentic Cantonese style dim sum you would eat with your family! I only wish it delivered to my area so I could eat there more frequently ?!

Great dim sum, good friendly service. Great to have this addition to complement all the other great local eateries. Decor is abit outdated, could do with some freshening up.

0 stars are deserved. Watery curry. Used cucumbers instead of courgettes!!! No coconut milk and rush rush atmosphere. Unfriendly waitress, who is mean to young children. Worst Thai food I have ever had and I have eaten in many Thai restaurants across the UK and Thailand itself. The food seems inauthentic to me.

The scents of Thailand immersed me as I stepped into this restaurant. The wooden carvings covering the walls, even the tables and chairs have obviously been brought over from Thailand. The couple running the restaurant are Thai! The food was superb and 100% authentic! This is a true gem of a find in this area. Much better than the alternative Thai eateries in Berkshire. A very romantic little place for a special meal! If you like the food in Thailand, you will love this! If you don't believe me, pay the Thai Elephant a visit to find out for yourself!

Had the dim sum here which they make on site. As you would imagine it was very fresh and tasty. The staff are also super friendly. If coming on a Sunday, be sure to book.

Cold plates and bowls, I was told their warmer was broken but I was told the exact same a few months ago!Thai green Curry was really not good, the chicken was tough, it lacked the vegetables that are usually in the dish…mange tout, baby cob slices, water chestnuts, this only had two pieces of red pepper, two small pieces of tomato and sliced cucumber. The sauce was very runny.

We popped in and ordered a takeaway from the bar area, Once ordered the waitress informed us it would only take 10 minutes, True to her word the food arrived in 10 minutes, Once home with the takeaway, we rapidly wished we didn't order a thing, Mixed starter, was terrible ? To include the miniature spring rolls, White spots on the spate ribs !! All appeared to congealed slop Main dishes, Echos the mixed starter

Ordered squid curry. Didnt turn up. Shocking. Didn't tell me they'd ran out. Shocking service. Good average. Never again.

The food was ok, it's a set price, eat what you want. They run out of a beef dish early in the evening, and just left it off the order, without telling us. Quite slow in bringing the courses out. It's value for money and was busy, so it's obviously popular.

Came here on a Wednesday evening as a group of 8. The restaurant was pretty much full and there seemed to be only two waiting staff front of house. They were doing their best but it seemed like they were very over stretched so it took a little while to order food and for drinks to arrive. The food itself was really delicious. We went for the buffet option, where you order dishes as and when you want. It's a good way of doing it so that you don't over order so there's less waste. Overall was very satisfied with the experience. The staff were pleasant, just hope they can get another member of staff to help them out!

The size of the place is not so spacious, but still can be seated comfortably between tables. Friendly, helpful service. Despite the limited options in dim sum, they are delicious nonetheless. Recommendable.
