Davina (our server) was absolutely amazing, not only was she there to serve the best possible customer service throughout our meal, she also made great conversation when she came to the table. She brought all our food out and kept the table looking impeccable (to add: the food was AMAZING). This was our first ever Christmas eating out and she made it so special so wanted to wish her a merry Christmas and thank her yet again <3

My husband and I booked a table here for Christmas Day- they seem like a decent establishment, well known and the Christmas menu looked really good. £90 per person for 3 courses and an hors de oeuvre each. We also had to pay in full a month before hand. My husband checked with the manager when paying why full payment was necessary and he assured us we would be very happy with it all. We were seated and it was all great, waitress was perfect very attentive. First thing - our starters were given to us within minutes of arriving then 2 mins after our hors de oeuvres arrived - nothing major except the hors de oeuvres were clearly made well in advance a little stale. Small mix up no problem. We finished the dishes and seconds after our, mains arrived. We had the classic steak and fries (they forgot the traditional wedge of lettuce) and a Christmas dinner- turkey & potatoes were nice but the veggies had been there for god knows how long and extremely pale and tasted of nothing at all. (The waitress admitted they looked ‘wilted’) she kindly brought a little bowl to put them in to be taken off my plate. The desserts were ok. So that’s what we paid £90 for. Everything possible had been cooked in advance for ease. (Blatantly obvious) We chose to buy a bottle of wine and one mimosa each which were in addition to the £90. I appreciate it’s Christmas Day and they all have to work extremely hard but it was all so mediocre and not worth anywhere near £90 each. I always read reviews and it’s important that I express our feelings especially for a special occasion.

Returned to M&C Woodford & our visit was even better than our last! Had a beautiful T Bone steak which was perfect. Served by Lauren & the service was excellent. Already planning our next night out in Woodford.

I went here to celebrate my birthday. It was empty on arrival but the restaurant was full very quickly.Kids menu was ok. Steak was good.But the lobster tail was very dry.The steak sauce didnt have much depth but can do better.

We came in for a meal on Tuesday evening and had the festive menu it was very delicious. The cheesecake dessert was extra tasty! Are server Georgina was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us with our choices. The service and food were lovely. Looking forward to are next visit.

We had ribs - you should include it in the festive menu - it is a good meal. The dessert menu has very little with lower calories and some of the choices are 1100 calories - this is far too much for anyone. I therefore chose a mini dessert with coffee offering.

Came with the family and got the full rack of ribs for myself. Might be the most tender ribs I've ever had, fell right off the bone with plenty of sauce. Unfortunately no 12 oz sirloin on the day but the ribeye didn't disappoint. Michael was fantastic on the day with timely and welcoming service.
Always lovely to come here. Tonight we celebrated six months of marriage with an amazing steak dinner and taff was fantastic, polite speedy and a joke or two. Well worth a visit any day of the week.Parking: Plenty of spaces at the back of rhe restaurant

Just excellent! Food is delicious ? for me as a vegetarian and for my family of meat eaters. Cocktails are really well made and cannot fault the desserts. Love coming to this Miller & Carter - great ambience and fantastic serviceVegetarian options: Great selection of options for vegetarians - so good that I'm usually the one suggesting we go to Miller & Carter for dinner.

we always have a great time at this miller, i came with my boyfriend and his family and we all enjoyed ourselves. the atmosphere is great and the appearance inside and out is lovely as always.our waitress Davina was very nice and attentive, making sure we had everything we wanted and keeping the table clear for us.the food and drinks were great and all arrived in good time. i don’t live in the area anymore but i’m sure it won’t be my last visit to this miller,thank you to our waitress and all the other waiters who helped out!
