Will not be going back to Prezzo in Woodford Green again. This was supposed to have a lovely Mothers Day meal from my boys. To be honest we where 10 mins late, but we tried to call but knew they probably wouldn’t answer being so busy.We arrived and the first thing my son did was apologise that we were 10 mins late, the receptionist first words were you only have 1hr 30 mins at your table now, which was understandable but it was the attitude behind it.Originally we had a table booked for 4, but she sat us at a make shift table right by the reception area in front of the door (which you can imagine, cold every time someone came in). To be honest I didn’t like where we were places, so my son politely ask could we be put somewhere else, she said no as the only table they have is a 4 at the back. So my son said well that must have been our table as that was our original booking. To cut this short this went back and forth but she was not understanding. In the end, I think it may have been a manager came over and said yes there is a table for 4, which my son responded must be ours … anyway the receptionist picked up the menus abruptly and said ‘have that table then’.With that kind of attitude we decided to leave as the other customers could hear how loudly she was talking and to be honest it was just embarrassing.I can understand yesterday would have been a busy day, but I always thought everything would be done to accommodate the customer, well she definitely did not do that!

Staff was too busy talking to each other than serving was 5 mins just to be seated while they was having a chit chat, food was cold and got my partner’s order wrong twiceMost definitely not worth the price when the service is so bad

Hi, I'm a regular at Prezzo Woodford Green and have been for years, but today experience was below par, I asked for parmesan cheese when our mains arrived and the waitress went off to package food for a delivery order! By this time the food was getting cold and we both just watched the waitress go to another table to collect the empty dishes, while we're still waiting for cutlery and parmesan cheese.....tbh these we'rent the regular staff.....poor show.Best

Their caremelised onion garlic bread was AMAZING ? all their cheesecakes are fantastic aswell. Been there many times and have never failed to impress me

Really great italian food. We ordered a chicken pizza with cheese and king prawn spaghetti. They are really delicious. Recommend!

The only reason why this is 2 stars from me is the fact that the food was pretty good, but other than that the service was complete and utter poor. The woman in a blue shirt (the only one that night.) didn't ask for Allergens which really itches me a little but we didn't have any anyways I'm just worried that happens to someone who does have allergens and if they are not reminded to let people know they could be in trouble. We ordered starter drinks and we was left waiting for 15 mins whilst the made them they came back with half of the order and left us for 10 minutes to get the other half of the order an absolute joke. As a person who works in as a bartender/waiter this is completely unacceptable. We then ordered our starters and mains together to make sure we got them as soon as possible rather than waiting for a while and we waited a long while for even the starters to come (I usually see a 20 min wait 30 at most that time for starters is LONG enough but maybe I'm wrong) but this ended up taking maybe 35 maybe more mins for the starters to come out. We ate them and honestly it was really lovely. Then we had our starters and we waited... and waited. Possibly another 20 minutes went by we ordered more drinks and they didn't even come also. All this time we was even waiting for our plates to be taken away. Finally a woman in a blue shirt started taking them away she put them on the table behind us and took 3 plates away.. theeeeen we waited another 15 minutes and the crazy part is here that they didn't even finish taking the plates out just LEFT us without tending to us the whole time still waiting on the drinks I asked one of the waitresses for attention if they can please get our drinks we was waiting for just a pepsi and 2 bottles of beer I did also ask the waitress if she can start please getting our mains. They start finally taking the rest of the plates and we get our mains which came out in quite good time which begs a question did they just hotplate it? Anyhow we finished that and it was delicious the food was amazing once again. Then again we sat waiting... ? this was starting to get REALLY annoying. I wanted to order a dessert but as soon as I saw maybe 5 waitresses walk past seeing our table with our plates stacked on top of eachother for them I just kinda gave up and we paid for the bill and we left. I am absolutely disappointed this is not customer service it's not even service at all. To the chefs you put the food together and it was lovely but the waitresses need training I've only been a waiter/bartender myself for 3 months and I have standards that this did not satisfy. ALLERGENS is extremely important to ask no matter the customer always ask consequences could be fatal to the business and finally leaving us with dirty plates on the table for a very long time the long wait times for even just the drinks and we sat next to the bar. I will come back one day in future and hopefully the service will be much better.
