We actually had a take away from here, which took about 1 hour and 10 minutes to arrive from time of order. Admittedly it was a Saturday night and I would not mind the wait but the food was poor. The delivery driver was rude, just grunted the price at me when I opened the door and said hello. I don't think he spoke any English, so not a great start. The whole meal for two was not that cheap - just under £40. Again, the price would not matter if it was good...but we were disappointed. The so called marinated meat in the Chefs Special was certainly not done so overnight, as advertised. The onion bhaji was undercooked and greasy. The tarka dhal was a bit watery. The whole meal was below average. I would not order from here again.

Ordered a take away again always late and have to chase the delivery and they always say left 5 minutes ago yet another 10-15 minutes passed and still not here and only live 5 minutes away . Ver disappointing how they never come on time

Was actually a home delivery. Normally pretty good during the week but just pointless ordering on a Saturday evening as the food is always late, rushed and very average. Always need to ring them up to chase up the food...usual bs about it's on the way, when definitely hasn't left the premises yet.

I've tried a number of Indian Restaurants in the area, Meghna is hands down the best. Great food, Staff are friendly and helpful and prices are decent. Definitely give them a go! :)

The popodum were stale, so sent them back. Came back just heated up, still stale. Waiter said he didn’t understand why as they had been made at 2.00pm (6 hours early. Did not have a starter. The curry was just about passable, not much chicken, a lot of sauce. Bill came to £51 for 2 curries and 2 drinks. Will not be going back.

I've been going to Meghna for 11 years. I mostly get a takeaway but have dined in.The food is fantastic. The service is friendly. The on-line ordering is always correct and prepared quickly and ready on time. Highly recommended!
Four of us ate there and the restaurant is modern, clean and atmospheric. The food was delicious. We had the Korma, Pasanda and the Mango based curry as well as a tandoori chicken.We will return!

Ordered and paid for food to be delivered they said would be 50 mins to an hour however 1 half hours later still not turned up.So called them took extra 20 minutes to be deliveredFood was cold two bhuna chicken was chewy and bland meant to be medium spice nothing ordered chicken madras once again this is meant to be fairly hot with spice nothingTotal waste of money never again

I dont usually use reviews in a negative way but this is an exception...Tried to order online but payment wasn't going through even after trying 3 different cards...so I decided to go in and order. I got there and was "greeted" by a member of staff who did not seem to be interested in taking my order.. Eventually he took my order and I had a beer whilst I waited for 50 minutes gor my order to be ready...I Eventually asked if it would take much longer and was told it should be ready. A few minutes later another member of the team brings an order out and gives it to another customer who's waiting. As soon as the said customer leaves the 2 members of staff start having a bit if an argument and I realise that they gave my order to the other customer. As I query if that's what happened I was ignored and eventually he admitted that's what happened. I wasnt gonna wait for another 50 minutes so I asked for a refund and was ignored as he tried to call the customer who took my order... I then asked to speak to the manager and he said he was the manager. It took a good 10 minutes to get my refund...A great example of extremely poor customer service and plain rude manager who does not have a clue of what he's doing. I have used Meghna for over 10 years but I will definitely not return.
