We tried a range of the starters and mains during all you can eat, everything was really tasty and well cooked. Service was excellent, thought the self order method worked well and never felt like we were waiting for too long!

Good value and the all you can eat option currently £21 per person is ideal. It pays to book in advance although midweek early evenings not normally essential.

Been here so many times and loved it, but today the customer service from the bloke was shocking!We were rushed into eating and even had staff rushing to clean our plates whilst still in the middle of eating. I don't think I will be back after today's experience. They have no care for their customers. Its literally a one in and one out kinda service!

We have just come back from Sunday lunch and for the first time we have been so disappointed and doubt whether we will go back again. We have been to the Chef regularly for many years
We booked at 1.30 pm knowing that the kitchen closed at 2.30pm. The service,although the staff were polite and pleasant ,
It was obvious that they wanted to get rid of as soon as possible. Staff - hovered and looked at our table every five minutes. Made you feel dry uncomfortable.
Food was not up to usual standard - lukewarm and watery and we left most of it.
In the end we left,not finishing our drinks, as felt we had to get out quickly.
If you really want everyone out of the restaurant 2:30-3pm you shouldn't take bookings after 1pm
