Primo means first or best, and this place deserves its name. Real Italian food, cooked fresh and from scratch, blending traditional with family recipes, and warm, friendly service at prices way below what your taste buds will tell you it's worth. The only problem you will have is making time to come back for all the things on the menu you haven't tried yet! Just order the Barrolo in advance. You'll thank me later.

Great first experience at Primo. Based on recommendation from a friend. Food and atmosphere were excellent. When we left, I got the feeling the staff were ready to close up. Bit it was quite late. As a footnote, the pizza selection was very good.

We haven't visited primo since before pandemic when we would visit at least once a week.Service is excellent, food lovely and atmosphere relaxing.We booked a meal for myself and my husband for our 50th anniversary which we enjoyed and was given a lovely glass of bubbly after our meal .It is a bit more expensive but for special occasion you don't mind.

5 star all round. We came down from Yorkshire for the meal, We WERE NOT disappointed. It is as good as we heard. Nice family atmosphere. Attentive service. Excellent food.Good place for a family celebration. Thanks for a lovely time.Parking: Ample parking on the market a whole 10 seconds walk away

The service was as ever 1st class, the food was at the highest standard, choice of wines and drink spot on and ambiance perfect! It is not surprising this is our favourite and first choice of restaurants. We look forward to seeing you again soon. x
