Diabolical delivery service. Ordered at 6.30, for a 7.30 delivery (so ample notice to accept the order). It’s 8.35 and I’m still waiting, 4 phone calls and absolute lies about it having left the restaurant 45 mins ago, I’ve given up and will cook myself. Absolute scammers and liars. For context we live less than 5 mins away so the “traffic” argument doesn’t hold weight.

Superb find. Lovely ambience, even better food! Best Karahi we’ve tasted. Likewise with the garlic naan, incredibly tasty and authentic - if only they were slightly bigger, as they were melt in the mouth! Excellent service (thanks for the ice cream for the little one, nice touch!) and we’ll certainly be back again. We hadn’t realised the connection to Dishoom until after we enquired. It made so much sense ?

There were 35 of us for a Birthday meal and from booking to leaving Rahul and the entire team were great, good value for money, excellent food and friendly staff who are tentative - we have family in from many areas all commenting that we are so lucky to have an excellent Indian so local, Lamb chops, fish Pakora, fish curry and Jalfrezi all hoghlights . First time visiting since the new ownership and we were really impressed. Service was spot on and the food was excellent. Certainly the best curry we have had in many years. The biriani ticked the box with the egg in the middle … not many chefs bother to do it these days so when they do you know some care has gone into the food. The curry sauce / gravy as it’s known is certainly not the average gritty harsh sauce that you get in many restaurants these days. The manager/owner Rahul spotted that we were new customers and made his way over to introduce himself and talk about the restaurant and the changes he’s made. ….. great to see that. If you are fed up of your regular curry house/takeaway then try this place out I’m sure you will not be disappointed. Well done Sigdi 10/10.

I had arranged a Works Do at Sigdi and was extremely impressed with the service throughout the booking process / meal itself. The food was fantastic. Everyone commented how great the food was. The service on the actual evening was seamless, and professional. We were really well looked after for the whole evening. I will certainly be back in the near future. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Visited Sigdi a number of times since they took over, food always being excellent and staff very attentive. With the wife being a coeliac we always check the allergy lay out on the menu and must say Sigdi’s is well laid out with some great gluten free options. Will definitely be dining here again.

We went to the Sigdi on Christmas day, we were a party of 14. Everyone loved the food and the service, in fact we all decided it was the best Indian food we'd ever had. We always eat out on Christmas day and we accept that the food and service can be slightly below par because it's so hectic. However this wasn't the case at Sigdi the food was superb, the service was excellent and staff were all very helpful and friendly.

Born amd bought up in india, i always fancied decent authentic indian food with traditional taste, which has always been challenging in UK. But at sigdi restaurant we were surprised by the warm welcome and of course the finger licking food. Staff was amazing as well. Will definitely visit on regular bases. If you want pure indian then sigdi is the only answer
