The best Indian restaurant in Atherton! I'm newly diagnosed lactose intolerant and was so worried about going for a curry as I thought everything was cooked in clarified butter. I told the staff about it and they did everything they could to put my mind at rest and gave me all the information I needed to make an informed choice. Will definitely be going back

This place not as good as it was....visited 29th Sept...5pm....Got our Food at 5.55!...No Apology or explanation for Delay...Disappointing....Waiter miserable...Only showed interest when time to pay the Bill....Slow Service NO Apology or Explanation = NO TIP.....?

Absolutely terrible I would never go again our food was bland, powdery and we then complained about it and a memeber of staff rolled there eyes at us I also ordered a kema nan and it came with no meat inside and took 8 minutes to replace it. They said once we complained that they would be with us soon it’s now been 20 minutes and there still not with us poor food, poor customer service and poor in general only good thing I have to say was it was clean and the popadoms were average

Came here last night with hubby, 3 daughters and a family friend. Everything was top notch. Food was absolutely delicious and we weren't waiting ages either whoch is a massive plus when you have kids with you. We hadn't been in a hood few years so we're really pleasantly surprised by the decor, it's stunning. All the food we ordered was just delicious, especially my chicken tikka samber ? fabulous service, great food and lovely staff. Will be back and not leave it as long this time.

Easy parking was a good start. Staff are friendly and the place is decorated well and there are some nice touches. This was our second visit here. The menu is typical of your usual indian restaurant so plenty of choice. We ordered chicken chat and chicken pakora starters and although they took a while to arrive they were very tasty and decent sized. We ordered tandori mixed grill with madras sauce and chicken tikka vindaloo with garlic naan and pilau rice. All the food was very good and not too hot to taste. Meat quality was great. The prices are very reasonable We thought. There are lots of booths to sit which we like and tables aren't too close together. A great experience over all so we will be going again soon

Honestly, one of the nicest indian meals I have had in a long time and really reasonable costs at about £15 per head including one soft drink each. My children (10 and 12) also loved their meal and they can be fussy! Disappointed I don't live near here to come back. Thank you Tamarind Table!Vegetarian options: PlentyKid-friendliness: I didn't see a huge menu for children but they did have omlette and chicken nuggets. However, if you are familiar with indian food, there's plenty to order that they should enjoy.Tikka masala, korma and baltis are always a winner with mine.Parking: 40 spaces or so at the back of the restaurant

Small portions for the price, incredibly loud, long wait to be seated even though a table had been booked. One of the women's toilets didn't have a seat.

Starter was wrong with the popadoms and chutney tray.Onion bhaji and fish pakora starter was okay but not the best I’ve ever had.Long wait between starters and main meal, which was two Shashlik dishes (they where very good). The beer on draught seemed a little flat.Overall a decent meal.
