Ordered here for the first time at the weekend and I was extremely surprised in a positive way.The quality and taste was as good as I have had from any delivery outlet restaurant. Will definitely be using this restaurant again.Keep it up Curry Pot. Excellent Food. Many thanks David

Chewy chicken, bland curries. Was amazing place at one time, today it's horrible.

Stay away from using them for delivery take-away. Due at 6pm. Started chasing from 6.20 - eventually get through to be told it is on the way. Try chasing again at 6.40 - get through again at 6.50 to be told it has been delivered on an earlier route (it hadn't). Eventually turns up at the door at 7.00 - cold (no surprise). Now starts the long slow challenge of getting my credit card payment refunded - they weren't interested at the restaurant, so I have to raise a claim through the card

Ordered a delivery from here on 24th Sep 2021. The food arrived when stated and the portion sizes were good. I played it safe, as it was my first time ordering from here, and I went for the chicken tikka masala. It was very tasty with the right amount of spice, but it was a shame that that it contained so much red food colouring. My friend's chicken bhuna was also equally tasty, I was told. There was a good selection of pickles to go with the poppadoms and a good sized garlic naan, although it was more like a thick chapati and not very fluffy. On the whole though, I enjoyed the meal and will order again.

I was wondering where to go for a decent take away curry and was reminded by a work colleague that this place existed! Oh my goodness, the foods gorgeous and the madras is just right! (my go to curry) none of the food has oil or grease, lovely customer service as well download their app and find out for yourself!?

Excellent quality food and I'd say confidently the best one around. Food was delicious and good to see no oil settling on the top of the curry sauce like most. Tasted authentic unlike recent ones I've been to where they taste generic and almost the same no matter what curry you order. All round 5 stars from me!23.01.2021 - Update on a recent takeawayI was surprised to see the quality of food was poor on my recent order, I'm not sure whether the chef has changed but it's no-where near the quality I've experience previously. The chicken was very, very dry in the Rogan Josh, the prawns in the Prawn Korai were none existent and the Korma was extremely runny and thin. Again something may have changed, food supplier, chef etc. But when you spend nearly £50 on a family takeaway, I expect the food to be of a certain quality as it was every other time I've used The Curry Pot.

Chicken isn't tender at all.Service ok, but they need to learn that the chicken must be tender and soft. There no better even now there a takeaway only. Sad really .

This used to be my goto place for indian food, but my recent order was so disappointing that I've now stopped ordering from here completely. So much of food coloring was used that it stuck onto the fingers and took days to wear off. Avoid at all costs.

Order from here practically every week for delivery. Past few weeks we have had the set meal for 2. Tasty, fresh and plentiful.

Don't even bother ordering!!!!!! Family night in for a treat, thought I'd make a change from JustEat and order local and a delivery!!!! Delivery was promised within the hour ( 55min ) after 1 hr 10 min phoned up and was told it's on it's way!!! After 1hr 20 min same again but the reply was “ I'm busy what do you want me todo about it I'm not the driver and I can't promise a time. After 1hr 50 min the food finally arrived and absolute rubbish, bland, cold, soggy chips and would have enjoyed a Jar Curry from a Supermarket better. Save the disappoint and order from somewhere else. Never again.

We haven’t had a takeaway from curry pot over COVID we used to have takeaways and sit in meals regularly for some reason I heard that the curry pot had closed I rang on the off chance that it hadn’t and thank goodness they are offering delivery so it was just the restaurant that had closed obviously due to COVID ? We have had a takeaway tonight Christmas Eve we rang early as it is the usual to have to wait on a busy evening ( if I didn’t have to wait I would of worried ?) We had to wait hour and half but didn’t expect not too ?‍♀️food arrived hot and it was lovely so happy curry pot is still making good food Very happy with everything Don’t be put off by negative reviews on here

Waited 2.5 hours, rang after an hour as website said it would be 45-50 mins, to be told "10 minutes". Waited another 1.5 hours then it finally arrived and papadums were smashed to smithereens and 2 main courses were missing. Rang to ask if they could deliver the missing main courses to be told it would be another 50 minutes. We ordered a meal for 4, why would 2 people be happy with eating over an hour after the other 2 ? The attitude on the phone was appalling !!!! We alwaysgo to Rema in Tyldesley, it is far superior in every way. Will never order from The Curry Pot again !!!! Disappointed is an understatement !!!!

I requested: no salad. No onions No peppers. Got all three and the smell of peppers puts me off all food Chicken was dry and tough Asked for food to be left on doorstep but driver obviously didn’t understand social distancing and stood at door even though I shouted to him before opening door. It was obvious he wasn’t going to put food down and walk away as I requested. All in all not good
