“Kinda like a modern 'trendy bar' but with good service and brilliant entertainment.
High-end traditional style IPA pub, this place hosts many quality independent seasonal, one off craft beers, has a nice mixed clientele and offers great entertainment in the form of cabaret singing, acoustic acts and a two-monthly Stand up Comedy night to rival any comedy roadshow.”

“First time at this Retreat, I have been to the others. In general pretty good, very similar to it's sister restaurant in Adlington. Would have marked it higher but the menus weren't as clean as they could be. Food was mostly tasty but didn't blow me out of the water. I'd definitely give it another try as the staff were all lovely.”

“Lovely drinks and lovely staff! The VIBEZ (no pun intended) in this bar were amazing. I loved the atmosphere and aesthetics it gave. I will definitely be back!
I love the choice of DJs at this bar aswell as the Caribbean&AFRO cuisine ?”

“Very friendly staff, always good with my little girl, even chefs say hi on the odd occasion that they come out of the kitchen. Food is reasonably priced, kids dirt cheap during the week usually £1 if we come after school. Staff are absolutely lovely and have got to know them really well”
