Really enjoyed my favourite dish - fish and chips! Delicious and fresh and tasty. Mushy peas spot on and served with smile ay your table. Try it out as one of the best in Bolton.

Nice food but rip off merchants. In their family deal, there is 3 massive fish meals and onion rings. It also says you get a bottle of coke, which as per my visit to other branches is always the family size bottle. They refused to give it. Offered me just 1 can for a group of 3!! On my utter insistence and speaking with the manager who kept offering to call the head office for me, I eventually argued my way into getting 1 bottle of drink and 1 water. By the time I got back to the table, food was cold. Never again.

Come on .. mother Hubbard!!!I used love this place. Prices are high we expect some quality at least oily fish and over cooked chips. Come on at least let the fish drain the oil before putting it on top of the chipsIf you want to improve you need staff trained up properly by the looks of it they must have been trained for 1hr... and chucked in to the deep end.

Nicest fish I've ever had. The fiery fish was unreal. 10/10 would recommend.
Excellent all round. Superb food. We took it home and really enjoyed it. Large portion sizes meant almost half was saved for brunch the next day.Highly recommended.

Used to eat here all the time and food was good. Went today (03/03/2024) and had the opposite experience.Young woman behind the counter clearly seemed overwhelmed by the orders (they had a lot of online orders it seems) and was openly arguing with another worker asking him to come help pack orders. However he still served me only having to wait 5 minutes then another 15 or so for the fish and chips, but the food that was given to me was really poor quality.The battery was all crusty and tasted unpleasant. The fish had been overcooked also as it was chewy especially on the edges and the chips were so oily I threw out half the chips and most of the fish. The curry sauce also had a lot of lumps in it.Felt like a complete waste of £9...

Ordered the large fish and chips and although the fish was large and indeed very good. The chips had an odd taste to them. I don't know if its the age of the oil they are cooked in or the potatoes they use but yeah they tasted odd. Also the portion of chips and side of peas was really small considering the size of the fish.
