General good value for basic expectations for this establishment in line with the price. However this time the service of the female bar staff member was rude & discourteous. The food was not good - curry was ok but the naan bread was so greasy & cold & the rice was cold. My husband had fish & chips & the supplier has obviously been changed as he says it was not as good as usual. He also said his food was Luke warm not hot. I expressed this to a waitress but she just took the plates & said she's let them know, no apology, no manager sent over, no offer of reduction in price/partial refund. I will not be returning again. An establishment is only as good as your last visit and based on this experience, if others follow suit, they won't be keeping many bums on seats for much longer!!

Nice big spacious pub/food place Nice on a warm day . Sit outside in a patio area . Staff welcoming . Food is okay .where else can you get a steak meal and pint of beer for 12 quid or thereabouts….. nowhere ..

We walked into the BANK on Market st Westhoughton for the first time this evening and one of the 2 x young bar staff, was very rude and then started to grind up against the other member of staff, so much so, another customer also cemented on it stood at the bar and when my partner ordered a double Bacardi and Coke, she wasn’t asked, if she wanted ice or how much coke etc the glass was just placed on the bar, no where near where we were sat, we then had to order another Double Bacardi (neat)The 2 x young bar staff continued to touch each other, whenever they had the opportunity and other customers again commented on this and even said go and tell Mark the Landlord doing the quiz?We just thought we weren’t felt welcome and felt disrespected as new customers and has put us off returning to this establishment.

Visited here with husband and young son, the establishment was fairly clean during our visit, quite busy, ordered food through the app drinks and food was served rather quickly so was impressed, good value to money and staff was friendly

Absolutely hopeless, one person serving,waited ten minutes to get served. No apology for the wait. Tables dirty and full of empty glasses, would not recommend.

Needs a good clean tables hardly ever cleared unless customers do it themselves!!! A makeover long overdue! On our next visit need to take wet wipes for tables before we sit down!
