Always enjoy the Bowling Green for a pint or two. Very often some excellent bands play on a Friday evening. Shame too often find some unpleasant types in or outside the pub being a bit edgy or aggressive. Would security on the door make matters better or worse? - I don't know. Being such a popular Horwich destination simply draws in a few wrong 'uns. Won't stop me going in however. Keep up the good work all the staff at the BG.

Staff have no idea what beer should taste like and happily sell sour ale. When confronted they deny it's off and refuse to give us a better pint.Maybe employ people who know how to maintain kegs properly
