We have recently stayed in this hotel for 6 nights as part of a tour. The location is great and we were on a soccer/football tour but……. This is not what I would call a typical Raddison hotel standard and is in desperate need of refurbishment. The rooms are very small and my 10 year old was on a roll out bed leaving no room for cases and the room table had been moved close to the door which meant you couldn’t open the door to the room easily. If you had tried to swing a cat it would have gone out of the window. Which brings me to another issue. The room smelt awful to the point we had to leave the window open permanently. Add to this the hotel allowing people to bring in takeaway food into their rooms meant our floor continuously smelt like a bad Indian takeaway. The wallpapered wall adjacent to my sons bed was covered in dust and dirt and the carpet around the skirting board and door to the bathroom had ingrained dirt. The bathroom has no extractor fan and worse the deal to shower screen leaked so the floor of the bathroom was like a swimming pool - permanently as the room was only made up once during the whole stay. I had to buy toiletries as they were not replenished and the towels only replenished once. The floor towel because of the shower leak was soaked after the shower and remained soaked the whole stay. And now for a crazy gripe and I would really appreciate a response from the Manager. On checking on and for the first day there were complimentary mints in a bowl at the reception desk. By the second day they had been removed and when asked the staff member on the desk replied they had been removed as there were a lot of children staying at the hotel! Really? A lot of the group and myself included gave up eating at the buffet in the evening. The first night the hotel buffet ran out of food. The last night we did ask beforehand what was in the buffet and were told there were 40 chicken skewers for a group of of over 50 and other dishes like pasta bakes. The hotel member replied there wouldn’t be enough chicken skewers for everyone ! Wagamana to the rescue…

I have now used this hotel 100 + times. Outstanding service and professionalism. Beautiful, comfortable, and very clinical clean rooms. The food is cracking, with a braw wee dram. I will certainly continue to use this hotel. Highly recommended peeps.

If you are going to stay in Middlebrook, then don't bother with any other hotel. The pictures on the site don't do it justice. The entrance is spacious and clean, the stairs lead to a wonderful bar and dining area with numerous TV's to watch the match or news, but normally sports on Sky or BT. We were on the 1st floor with a view of the carpark but not an issue with traffic noise. The room is spacious and slightly larger than a Premier Inn room. The bathroom was spotless and the shower over the bath was powerful. The room was spotless, not a pinch of dust anywhere and room came with iron, ironing board and trouser press. The TV had numerous channels and the bed was firm with excellent pillows. For a change and rare to see, there were 4 pillows on this huge bed. It was two singles together but the individual beds were more 3/4 beds pushed together which made nearly a Queen size bed overall. There is food available in the main restaurant along with bar food such as pizza and smaller meals. The staff were extremely friendly and always ready to help with a smile. I have to say, for the money, this hotel is one of the best I have stayed for comfort, amenities and staff and cleanliness. I highly recommend staying here and may choose the pitch view in a package on match day or the suite on the top floor. (This room however doesn't have a pitch view, from what I understand). There is a late checkout, not available on match days, but checkout is 11am so plenty of time to chill and take your time waking up. We went on a Friday and breakfast on a Saturday is 7 to 10.30am, but recommend that you go 9.30 at the latest to make sure you get everything available. Will definitely use this hotel whenever we have a night out in Middlebrook again.

Room was very small for 3 people, bed for 11 year old was horrendous. Rooms not serviced at all and towels not replaced. Tried to phone reception 3 times and got no reply. There were no mugs available for coffee at breakfast, we were offered paper cups. Bar service was beyond slow and food had to be ordered at the bar, no-one to take order at your table. Service overall was very bad including reception. I would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel itself is quite impressive and looks professional and clean inside the reception and bar areas. Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was good and had a nice selection to choose from including hot and cold food. Coffee available on two separate machines within the breakfast area and takeaway cups provided also, which was a nice thought. The only downside here are the rooms. These don’t match the rest of the hotel unfortunately. Rooms are outdated and do have that feeling as though they get the least amount of money allocated to them. The room was cold, thin windows with lots of noise coming through. Holes in the bathroom floor tiling, dirty grout around the bath, basic old fashioned furniture. TV doesn’t pick up most main channels (1, 2, 3, 4) and internet drops out frequently. I wouldn’t stay again and would choose an alternative if all that was required was an overnight stay.

Stopped here for years, but not been since covid ended. Brought a special customer to Bolton for the evening who did not get a great experience with noise on the corridor during the evening. Here is my slight issues that will hopefully help you with understanding you customers requirements further -: Breakfast was luke warm due to the power being off. Upon eating noticed a part eaten sausage on the floor on the next table. Room 402 - again corridor noise was disruptive. Contractors helping themselves to the fruit/breakfast bar so it covered their lunches as well was not good to watch. Money wasted here for the hotel. All the staff were really good, especially the reception ladies who were very helpful. Overall, A average stop over but to reiterate the colleagues here were excellent - we are looking to book again with 15 rooms in August so hopefully we will get a better experience

The check-in process was seamless and hassle-free, allowing me to quickly settle into my accommodation. Although I had initially hoped for a room with a pitch view, I ended up with a car park view, which was not quite what I had anticipated. Nonetheless, the room itself was spacious and provided ample space for comfort. During the night, there was some noticeable noise that slightly affected my sleep. While this was a minor inconvenience, it's worth considering for light sleepers or those seeking a quieter environment. One highlight of my stay was the breakfast. The morning meal exceeded my expectations, offering a wide variety of delicious options that left me thoroughly satisfied. The quality and selection of the breakfast items were excellent, making it a standout feature of the experience. Overall, despite the slight disappointment with the view and the noise disturbance, the spacious rooms and exceptional breakfast made my stay enjoyable.

We had an excellent stay in the Bolton Stadium Hotel last week when we went to see Pink. The pre concert hospitality was fabulous and made a great start to the evening. There was music, snacks, complimentary Prosecco and the staff couldn't do enough for us in order to make our stay fantastic. Would highly recommend definitely for a stay over when attending an event at the stadium.

Visited this hotel on 7th June for the first night of Pinks tour, we splashed out and booked a pitch view room so we could watch the concert from the balcony and WOW what a view (room 326) central to the stage. The hotel went all out and was decorated and had entertainment on from midday. They really did make an effort. All the staff were friendly and helpful especially in the first floor cafe where we had food when we arrived and breakfast the following morning, the room was clean and comfortable. Some areas of the hotel ie carpets looked a little tired and Ive read about the nightmare of getting out of the car park, but for our own experience the overnight stay and pitch view room made it a great experience, and of course nobody can match Pinks performances.
