Would you like a day of work? Are you old and had enough of life? If so, go to the carvery and order the Salmon and Prawn Wellington. You'll suffer with food poisoning, and your day off work will be granted! After spending 2 days with both ends, empting me out. I'd give it a miss. ThankyouVegetarian options: They make you ill.

We visited for Sunday lunch, When we arrived and booked in there was a 30 minute wait, as it was really busy, once got to our table Tricia our waitress was very helpful, taking our drink orders assisting us with the menus, my wife wanted something off the menu and ordered, I queued up for the carvery. Little bit of a wait but it was well worth it, Carver Scott very polite, when I got back to the table found the meal my wife ordered wasn't available, so Tricia again came to the rescue, sorted some meat from the carvery and we were able to jump the queue for the veg and potatoes, good service and fantastic food, will be Visiting here again

Very busy on a Sunday evening around 5 to 6 best to book, 1st time I have had to pay after your food as most places I go to you pay and get a ticket besides that bit of a long line for food you can get a large plate for an extra £1.99 but you may find eyes bigger than your belle, food was really nice and plenty of meat given very clean and toilets especially well the mens was

the carvery was very nice and plentiful but the beef was fatty so I didn't eat much of it.Also I download your app to recieve a free drink but the staff didn't seem to know anything about this, so I didn't peruse it.

Made a booking for 32 people for my husband's birthday. Waitress couldn't have been more attentive, food was great and they served us in a separate part of the restaurant - which was great.

Allowed to book a 18:50 slot even though the place was stopping serving food at 19:00.On arrival was told the carvery area was closing at 19:00 but was not made aware the whole kitchen was closing as would not of have stayed knowing sweets would not be available.I get it’s NYE and staff also want to enjoy time with friends and family but at least be up front with customers about your closing times and don’t take booking for 10 mins before you stop serving.Really poor experience not worth the cost.

Had a Xmas party on Friday 22nd December 2023 .Place was filthy. we had a party of 20 people and all the tables where filthy and the service was shocking .Over heard two members of staff saying the couldn't cope with the amount of people .Pretty shocking to say there was loads of Xmas party's booked. Defo not the place I would have an Xmas party. service was poor .food was cold .over half an hour to order drinks .had to double order drinks it took that long between the rounds .48hrs later 8 of 20 of the party have been poorly and still are .wrecked Xmas .Defo will not be returning

2 stars because the staff were pleasant otherwise would be zero. Visited on Xmas day for lunch and it was god awful. Greeted by someone obviously beyond drunk who was effing and blinding at top of his voice - despite young children being present. Food was cold and sauce for my fish was congealed. Cheese plate consisted of cheddar and Stilton. Limited variety. Yorkshire pudding lying on the floor that a child had thrown and staff failed to tidy up. Staff were pleasant and did their best but food and atmosphere poor

Came for Christmas dinner after having come here for the same a few years back. We've been really impressed both times with the quality of the food and the meat in particular was lovely. My 8 year old can be picky with his food but he said he really liked the lamb. Today we were served by Abi and Millie, and the carver was Scott. Thanks all for a wonderful time.

Normally go to Farm restaurants for a carvery but tried Toby for a change, not great, only able to have one size plate even if you have a big or small appetite, my mother would normally get a small carvery but was made to pay £15 like everyone else, not much choice on the carvery and it was only warm not hot even though it had only just been put out, won’t be going again unless Toby give you a choice of dinner sizes

The food was most enjoyable, as usual, having been several times over the years. The only improvement that I can think of is to ensure that what is on the menu is available, or at least to be told if any of the main items are not available before we go to the counter. My mate was going to have lamb but there was none on display.

Lovely food, great service. Only problem I have anxiety and I was put on table 51 right next to a group of people about 2 feet away from me and my partner so it was awkward to eat me and my partner sat in silence the whole time, my fault really for not speaking

The two alcoholic drinks we ordered didn't taste of anything. They didn't even remake my drink just argued with me that they added vodka to the juice. The customer is always right! I ended up paying for a straight cranberry juice with not a whiff or drop of anything in

Food quality wasn't great on this visit. The beef I was served was extremely fatty (at least 50%) and I requested it be replaced with an alternative. It's the third time I've returned the bèef for the same reason. Very little meat was served and at the time of us receiving our meal there was not an awful lot of food actually out to choose from. The Yorkshire puddings were flat and soggy too! I'm assuming because lots were using 50% vouchers, it was possible that may be the reason for the poor quality.
