Food was OK but not up to highest standards. Flavours were a little flat for our taste. It's not about having more or less chilli, but other spices should add to the overall flavour and this was not the case.

New years eve absolutely packed waited around 20 mins to grab a table but we'll worth the wait. Food was unbelievable, service quick even got a gift at the end. Lovely people brilliant restaurant.Parking: Village area so plenty of side streets

Very good food. Service very good but was a busy night so slightly slower than perhaps it might have been. Being busy, there was plenty of atmosphere.
Been here a few times over the years but first visit since 2020. A very traditional restaurant that has had a much needed make over; including finally updating the toilets. Draught Cobra is always welcome. They currently offer half price food from 5 pm to 6.30pm Monday to Thursday. Jorvic really enjoyed the food. All the classic dishes. Had very fresh poppadums with a generous pickle tray. Tasty lamb tikka and chilli chicken. Two good mains with one pilau rice and one naan. This food plus 4 pints less than £50. Food much improved from last visit. Will be back. They also do a good trade in take away, the phone constantly rings.

Never again. Ordered food at 6.45 > ended up going else where after almost 2hours of waiting. Managers attitude is a joke. Lies about delivery times made me look stupid in front of guests. Sad
