Standards have really improved recently and the place feels relaxed and homely. Staff are friendly and attentive. My wife and I try and visit at least once a week either for a quick drink or evening meal which is always great value for money.

Not been here for years and saw the negative comments. We enjoyed the two course festive lunch which was served promptly and was very nicely cooked. Vegetables cooked and not raw unlike some places. Staff pleasant and we would return.

Went with friends for a Christmas meal / get together on Friday, 3 of us had mushroom pepper pot for starter which was delicious however not hot. 4 of us had Christmas dinner, the turkey and gammon were lovely and the roast potatoes very hot, however carrots and green beans were cold and mash ok. Christmas pudding was hot and delicious. At 9.20 we asked if we could order coffees but was told that the machine had been turned off!!! Paid our bill and left. Very disappointed. ALSO We have been going here for years and this is the second year that we have been FROZEN , eating our meal with scarves on or Coats around us. Sadly don’t think we will be returning. Heating needs sorting. We weren’t the only ones with coats on.

"Food Safety Audit 1 star....not good." (Nov. '23) Such a shame, this was an excellent restaurant in the past. Unfortunately the last meal I had at The Queen Anne was still cooking straight from the microwave, I've never been back since.

I have been going to Charlotte for microblading (eyebrows) for a couple of years now. She is that good, even my mum goes now as well. She is super friendly, understanding, and talented.100% recommended. I get countless numbers of compliments for my eyebrows.

Wonderful salon with friendly and knowledgeable staff. I see Charlotte and Paula for my treatments and I can't recommend them enough! There's parking close by which is a bonus.

Omg what can I say, had this done else where yrs ago and had such a bad experience. Had them re done today here and I can't tell you how happy I am.. my brows are fabulous and more to the point and was comfortable the whole time and in no pain ( unlike last time else where). Charlotte showed me the imagine of the shape before and explained everything to me.. cant recommended this enough. More than 5 stars ..Service: Microblading
I have never been before don't think I would be returning based on this visit. Terrible mash on both meals, roast potatoes solid, veg was tasty, so was the gravy, stuffing isn't enough. No one checked to see if all was OK throughout the meal, and no one questioned when the plates was taken away why most of the food was left, staff was polite, but had to tell them what was wrong with the meal.

Our first visit after being recommended by a friend and it certainly wont be our last! Staff and service was A star, the food was delicious and great value for money, we were spoilt for choice on the menu but my husband and I had the 2 courses for 14.95 and his fish was just pure white it was beautiful and my sunday roast had a lovely homemade feel to it. The pub itself has a warm feel to it, a traditional pub but with a modern twist, lovely friendly atmosphere and a very nice outside seating area too.

Went to the Queen Anne with my parents (both 80+) as a treat for us all from my mum. Decided we would go and have the Early Bird in the bar, website wording, pictures and note on menu states it is available until 7 weekdays, or more clearly Monday to Friday specified on menu. The meals were charged at full price as my mum was told that there are no early bird offers on Friday, and when told the website, menus etc say this had the obligatory, oh they must be wrong. I wasn't aware until I got home and I emailed the Queen Anne about it in the evening. 3 days later I have had no response. Why support a business that does not honour the conditions they set out, will not answer queried and basically have no regard for heir customers. Terrible attitude. Terrible business.

Wow wow and wow !!! Everything was beautiful. Fast service and great starters main and dessert to take home because we were too full.Rump steak was cooked to perfection.
