Don't eat here, ordered over the phone picked up...."cash only". Food expensive bland very greasy in fact tastless. Not only that price over the phone was inflated by £3 when I went to pick it up. Oh and starters was burnt. Never again

I ordered special fried rice, there was hardly any meat which should have mixed meats 2 pieces of chicken char su just loads of gristle, and a lot of white rice in balls

Gravy was watery and disgusting, chips were soggy as anything and was like mash, and the sausage was just disgusting

Usually really good but tonight was the worst Chinese food ever, chips half cooked , soggy oily mess like oily mash, sauces watery and the chicken wings literally tartare about a week old..

Service was as usual very good, but portion sizes were very small and we was told there was price increases we haven't been for a while but was very expensive to other local Chinese restaurants given what we actually received probably go elsewhere in future unfortunately.
It's a take out and on an exceptionally busy day the large team runnjng the Golden House did a great job of keeping an extremely large number of people happy with the speed and accuracy of orders. The food was great too!

Had to queue up like the chippie. After about 25 minutes, we received our order and proceeded to take it back home. Only to find that the beef and black pepper sauce was laced with salt and the sweet and sour chicken tasted like vinegar. So hungry and so disappointed, the worst Chinese meal ever. Not recommended.
