First visit for me, about the 8th visit for my wife. Great decor, excellent, extensive menu. The food is really good with great flavour and portion sizes. Definitely worth booking as it’s a popular place. Great service too. Looking forward to going back again.Update Sat 17th Feb.We returned to the bistro again, this evening, with friends.I honestly love this restaurant. The food was excellent, all four of us really had a great evening, starters and mains all round. I had a king prawn cocktail followed by the triple fish main- half sea bass, half salmon and king prawns in a butter and lemon sauce. I absolutely loved it, it really was an outstanding dish and one I would happily and definitely eat again. The place was full again, a great sign and the staff, both in the kitchen and front of house did a wonderful job. Impeccable!6 stars this time!Thank you.

This really has become my favourite place to eat…. It’s close to hand so can easily walk from my home in Summerseat. I’ve eaten there all times of the day, food is always excellent and staff are really nice. Real local feel to the place. Prices are extremely competitive and for me superb for money. The fact there’s no alcohol license is beneficial to the customers as this keeps the price right down. Can’t say enough about the place. We love it for all occasions.

A little disappointed with the fillet stroganoff portion. I ordered regular and I’m glad I did because any smaller it would have been ridiculous. £17.95 for what I received was too much.Also received risotto rice which I didn’t expect and it was like rice pudding.The steak and sauce for what there was, was beautiful and cooked to perfection. I would hate to see the small portion.

The food is freshley cooked as you wait. You have to take your own drinks with you but there's a coop on the shopping precinct.Parking: There's parking at the front of the bistro and at both ends of the shopping blocks.

We have been here many times for Dinner. This time we went for breakfast. We did a google search to see if we could come up with the best option in the area and this one seemed good value. The Bistro opens at 11am and only serves breakfast until noon, but what an amazing breakfast it is for the price. It has various options for less than £10 and we tried many of them. I don't reckon it can be beaten. One of our sons reckoned it was the best cooked breakfast he had ever had in a restaurant - Some praise.

Went in personally to book a table for 6 on the 12th October and was told it would be have to be 5.30 as the only table for 6 people was already booked again for 7.30. We agreed with this and after asking for a name we saw the young lady write it in the diary. We arrived promptly at 5.30 and noticed the table was already occupied. On approaching the staff they denied the booking was ever made and even asked if we were sure we had booked there and not somewhere else! Then had we booked online and made a mistake? They had obviously double booked the table and were trying to blame us for there mistake. We will certainly think twice about going there again - very disappointing there wasn’t even an apology.

I personally had the best pasta dish I've ever had tagliatelle based and full of flavour so delicious ? we both had 3 courses each and it cost just over £50 for us both and seriously we'll worth every penny when you are served food that has real full flavour that these meals have its not to be missed ? .

My partner and I went last evening for dinner. The whole experience was first class. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and efficient, and a perfect ambience. Would certainly recommend.

Second visit after an amazing meal previously. Most meals were enjoyed however my sword fish was burnt and dry. The real issue was the sudden unexpected corkage fee, £6 for 2 bottles of wine which hadn't been in place before. This came as a surprise. We had 2 screw top bottles, no bucket of ice offered for the rose, no warning and basically the restaurants contribution was 3 glasses. Would be hesitant to return in the near future with so much competition in the nearby area

I'm a really fussy eater and I finished everything (Which is not like me)! If I could rate more than 5*, I would. Thank you so much! I have to mention the very kind lovely lady who came in and randomly gave my wife a bouquet of flowers ? We will track you down and return that lovely gesture. Such a kind soul.
