Had pudding chips n gravy. There was loads chips to go with the pudding and gravy. Everything was piping hot and just what I wanted. Well recommended visit.

Have been going here most Fridays since covid- by far has been the best chippie in Heywood in my opinion and quality of food consistently excellent However- last 3 times I have been - the portions have gotten smaller ( fish and chips) and the quality of both (fish and chips ) definitely not as good- no idea why this is- but the last 3 meals have been disappointing unfortunately .

Placed an order online through Deliveroo. 30 mins later I was advised they couldn't fulfill my order after initially accepting it.

Normally very nice, but this time chips undercooked , some hard and very dry inside, fish and fishcake just about warm, and the curry sauce you could have scooped out of the carton, might have to try somewhere different !

i would like to know why the prices are not coming down, they went up when gas and electric went up but not coming down now gas and electric has come down by over a 33%. we are being ripped off.

Missing the peas which was the part I wanted not even a chance to redeliver the peas after putting complaint in not happy just a refund which takes 10 days from how I paid ( joke )

Not been in for a while , didn't seem to have the same friendly atmosphere, butHey I am here for the fish and chips, anyone can have a bad day , but as usual the food was great as always , will go again when in the area
