Really disappointing experience. Arrived at 8.30 while travelling. Shown to a table with a dirty cloth. The building was freezing and I had to turn around the radiator to get it to point at me. Order food … a salad, mushrooms, pasta and bread that all came at the time. The food was okay but stodgy. No check to see if so needed another drink, which I had finished sometime ago. I then stupidly ordered the brownie. Heard it being popped in the microwave. It was only half done … on edges hot but completely frozen on inside. Really disappointing overall and would not come back. What is weird is looking down the reviews you can see that people have had two very different experiences of this restaurant. Sadly this was not a good day!!

Delivery shocking. Was told delivery would be with in the hour took almost 1 and a half, and when food arrived was cold. Go some where else it’s not worth the wait.

If I could put 0 starts I would. I must admit we were a table of 12 on Christmas eve , the restaurant wasn't full so can't blame that. So we all got a starters within 20 minutes nothing wrong up to now. Then they cleared the starters and we were waiting for our mains . After 10 minutes of waiting the waiter came up and checked if our mains order was correct which they should have done when they took the order in the first place . The mains then took 50 minutes to arrive at the table or half of them atleast . One of the calzones had to be sent back as it were stone cold the middle. The other half arrived 20 minutes after the first lot by that time some people had finished there mains as they were going cold in front of them. Most of my guests did not have good things to say about their meals the ones that arrived hot and on time . Overall a terrible experience topped off the upstairs room we were sat in being cold and gloomy . Would not recommend to my worst enemies and will never be back.

Just had a lovely Christmas Eve meal here. Bit of a wait due to the kitchen being very busy with take out meals - as well as a couple of big parties - but the food was well worth waiting for. Gorgeous, obviously freshly cooked dishes that we all enjoyed. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend.

Lack of lighting so hard to find out about this gem opened but they have moved in couple of months before so still working on the marketing side. Anyways, we passed by around 7pm in the joint. Was not sure wat to eat so their handsome chef advised to try Wings. OMG!!! SO JUICY AND FULL OF FLAVOR. We tried BBQ Wings and Hot Spicy Wings (Very Hot ?). One of the best Wings I have Tried. I am so excited to try other things. DEFINITELY NEW CUSTOMER U GOT!!

The customer service of the Chef is always great. I come for pick up my carbonara pasta and garlic bread. It always tastes fresh and so yummy.

In Love With LA BELLA’s PASTA. Their Pasta, especially the Bolognese and Pesto Chicken is heavenly. Perfect cream in pesto which makes its taste come beautifully. Not bitter not too much Cream. LOVE LOVE LOVE.
La bella pizza was definitely one of the best I’ve ever had, and service was very quick. My favourite was the pepperoni.

My uncle is a local of Oakleigh Community and has talked about La Katina many times. When I went to visit him, I was finally able to try it. I am glad I went in there. I bought Peri-Peri Chicken Wings and Angus Beef Burger for myself and got a Hawaiian for my uncle. We both thoroughly enjoyed our food.

Delicious food. Really nice pizzas. The dip for pizza crusts was special, I hadn't seen that before and it made the crusts exciting and even more tasty than the pizza. Friendly staff, fast service, accommodated our big order for large group easily.

We tried Pizzas from La Bella late last night for first time and we were quite impressed. We ordered Vegetarian Pizza from Traditional range and Tandoori Chicken Pizza and both were so delicious. Pizzas were full of toppings and right amount of sauce. Pizzas were ready on time that was mentioned over the phone, which is even great. I strongly recommend try this joint if you haven't yet. Parking on the service lane. New GO TO Place in Oakleigh.
