On my quest to find my new chinese. I came across chaus. Not many photos on the reviews so hard to judge, turn up Saturday night around 8pm with my daughter. Shop empty bad sign normally. Enter shop search menu thought best to try 2 chinese staples if they can't get these dishes right then the other dishes will be rubbish. My order special foo young. And crispy chilli beef. 2 portions of chips, large sausage. Food was really delicious especially the foo young. Good size portions, plenty of meat. Proper chips not frozen ones. The crispy chilli beef was also delicious big chunks of beef none of those little tiny shoe string pieces just full of batter, one negative the sauce was nice bit was very watery. Will try 2 other dishes next week.

Opens until 9:30 pm on a Monday which is great for me.One of the latest opening times early in the week for a chip shop which does 'proper' chips.Closed on Tuesdays, and primarily does Chinese/Cantonese take away.

I have been going to this chippy since I was in my late teens and it has always maintained it's Quality, I am now 67, some people reckon it's the best chippie around.
