Chose this pub out of the blue as a meeting point for friends from Yorkshire & Lancashire to have lunch. What a find! A warm greeting on our arrival followed by attentive service, an excellent choice of food that turned out to be superb and reasonably priced provided by friendly but discreet staff. AMAZING!

Just Utter Perfection Literal Perfection 1000000/5{Recommended Places} ^ La Casa (Italian) - Astley Point ^ ^ Lizhi - Astley Point - ^ Zest - Like Around The Corner From Astley Point{Long Review} Well I Don't Really Know How To Describe This Utter Brilliance, The Nevison Is A Gorgeous, Strikingly Beautiful, Slightly Rustic Pub& Restaurant, The Food Is Literally The Best, The Lamb Shank Is Gorgeous, And Minty Sadly It's A Special That Sometimes Isn't There But It Is Sure Special, The Nevison Is Really Aesthetically Pleasing With This Mildly Rustic Inspired Several Decade Inspired Masterpiece Of A Restaurant, It's Really Consistent, The Orange Juice Is Fresh, The Lamb Shank Is Minty And Meaty, The Staff Are Really Polite, Extremely Consistent Never A Bad Time To Come, There Used To Be A Really Funny And Loud Lady Who Brought Such Personality To The Nevison Making It Feel Less Like A Restaurant But More Like a Family, The Tables Are Well Spread Out, Just Perfection :),Parking: 8-Ish Spots

Met family at the pub for lunch, took our dogs too. Food was plentiful, tasty and well presented. The staff were very attentive, the waitress bought our dogs little food trays containing roast turkey and dog biscuits, lovely touch. The food was good value for money, would definitely recommend.

Food ok, Yorkshire puffing soggy aunt Bessie’s. friendly staff. No disabled toilets & toilets felt grotty. It was a shame about the lack of disabled facilities so unfortunately wouldn’t return

Arrived without a booking. Staff managed to find me a table for 3. Had a super Sunday lunch. Very generous and well presented portions. Highly recommended.Parking: Busy but managed to find a spot.

Popped in for a quick drink on our way back from the local tip. I've never been in before, so we'd thought we would give it a go. We did end up ordering a few starters as we were a little hungry. The main meals that were conung out from the kitchen looked amazing. Definitely will be back to try them.

This is one of the best pubs I’ve been to in years. They really know what customer service means. The woman that served us was friendly and patient and the cook was lovely, she came out of the kitchen to chat to us when we were enquiring about making adjustments to some of the menu items we were ordering. One of our party had an allergy and she was so helpful to make sure he got a good meal that he felt safe to eat. I have already recommended this pub and will continue to do so. The portions are generous and the ingredients are good quality. There is something on the menu for all tastes and appetites.

Visited with my disabled daughter who has multiple complex needs. The staff literally went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. 10 out of 10. Thank you for making us feel included. Food was hot and tasty and reasobably priced. Will definitely recommend and return.
