Visited here whilst staying in a local hotel.Everything about this place was of the highest standard and was really enjoyed. I highly recommend it to everyone.I will return on my next visit to Manchester Airport.

It's been 6 years since I left a 2star review, and figured I'd give them the benefit of the doubt and return. What a mistake. Until they stop using frozen produce I won't be returning, keep driving 5 minutes up the road and go to The Honeybee for a better meal, unless you want a frozen roast dinner then this is the place to go.

First time visit. Lovely food and service. Steak and ale pie with crispy, light pastry, delicious. Highly recommend. Steak cooked just how he liked it. Small triple chocolate brownie and coffee. Brownie one of the best I have tasted. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Will visit again.

We went here for Mother's Day food and drinks today - 10th March 2024. We were served by a lovely waitress called Sue. She was polite and professional whilst attending to all our needs. 1st class service and hats off to Sue!The food itself was spot on, every single course and dish we had tasted great and was also served so we didn't have to wait long for the next course.Well done The Romper and the staff ?

Just had a. Mother's day meal at the romper Altrincham. After a lovely starter it went down hill from their. We were very disappointed with the carvery meal as the roast potatoes we hard and when we mentioned about these the second lot were just the same.When we ordered our sweets ten minutes past still not received, when we asked another waiter these has not been ordered. The service was was received was not like we have preciously had received..We will not be back until this has been rectified.Thank you in anticipation to this problem.Mrs hulme

Was expecting a lot better based on recommendations we received regarding The Romper, food came to our table relatively quick, however the food was cold and items were missing off our plates, staff overall seemed very lethargic and we felt that there was a couldn’t be bothered attitude about the place, great location, I agree with the “Hidden gem” but this place could be so much better with a little bit of TLC, Won’t be returning in a rush, We left unsatisfied which is a shame because we had it booked in advance & was really looking forward to it.
Not been to The Romper in quite a while.Mcr Airport sprawl now covers what once was adjacent farmland to the PubThe Romper is a Chef & Brewer pub with menu online.We were working our way thru Tesco Clubcard vouchers.A really enjoyable night there with family adjacent to an open fire.Cosy corners and pleasantly busy.We booked a Saturday evening table (17:45) for four via the internet, glad as walk-in at 18:45 were being quoted quite a wait... obviously a popular place.Our waitress Sue was on the ball, quick efficient and unobtrusive.?

Lovely little pub & restaurant. Prices are good for the amount of food served - full plate full of good wholesome food, more than plenty! Excellent service, staff friendly & helpful. Would highly recommend.
