Great drinks! Lenny was so nice and welcoming! Had the rosé and the secret. Truffle popcorn was also really good. Will be back!

Tom and Jon gave excellent service , very friendly and caring. The only reason it’s not excellent is that the service was a bit slow

Me and my partner went to the Edwardian, hoping to have a quick drink and we ended staying for more than an hr. The drinks and the truffle popcorn were very nice but the staff made our stop feel more like an experience.Jon and his cocktail knowledge was fantastic. We would like to thank Lenny for his hospitality’s and warmth. A little hidden gem. Highly recommended the allure cocktail.

This was a first visit to The Library and seemed an g a concert at Bridgewater Hall. Unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. The customer service was of a very poor standard. We visited for drinks and waited more than 30 mins for a drinks menu - none were available on tables or bar. Other customers received table service for bar menus and drinks delivery but after a further delay of 15 minutes I went to the bar to order as nobody came to take my order. I wasnt offered a tray or assistance to carry 4 drinks back to my table. I am more than happy to serve myself if everyone else is doing the same however this was not the case. Good customer service means treating all of your customers to the same high standard - unfortunately this was not my experience and would make me very reluctant to return.

We had afternoon tea as a group of 10 at the library on Saturday afternoon. The room was lovely, the choice and quality of food was fabulous (we had both vegetarian and traditional afternoon teas) and the service was excellent thanks to Javan We would all certainly return again and recommend this as a place to go for afternoon tea to others Thank you for making our afternoon an extremely enjoyable one

Very poor, smelt of fish in the whole place, never again would I waste my money. Sandwiches hard and dry, cakes passable and tea well it was tea

Booked afternoon tea at The library Edwardian hotel Manchester and it was like being at Grimsby docks, the smell from the food being served in the same room where I was having afternoon tea was appalling, for me afternoon tea should be served in a tea room or separately to other diners like they do at The Midland or Annies but all I had was the smell of fish constantly which put me right off my food. Spoke to the manger who just shrugged it off saying it is what it is, he even saw how much food we left as I just wanted to get out of there. Waste of £60 in my book

Lovely bar. We stayed overnight and were well looked after by Max. Superb service and a great atmosphere. It was a while ago now, however, I've only just found the trip advisor card and really wanted to write this review. Thanks for looking after us so well.

Plenty of food: 5 types of finger sandwich (silverside was the best); two scones; 4 well-made cakes. Overall pretty filling though lacking a "wow" factor to be honest.

A big surprise birthday tea from the family during my trip in UK. What a beautiful and wonderful place that has been selected ~ The Library curated by Assouline in Manchester. Good foods and drinks, as well as the best serve ever present by Mr Javan ( thank you so much , Javan )

This was a belated 70th birthday present for a close friend. Delicious variety of sandwiches and cakes. Amazing service. The staff were very attentive with nothing appearing to be too much trouble plus a unexpected Happy Birthday surprise to top off the event. Highly recommend and thanks to all for making it such a memorable experience!
